Pffftt!

A play on words and you know it.
When they phrase it like that you know they are trying to pull the wool over your head.

A migration background could mean some Italian ended up in Switzerland in 1848 and stayed. It also covers the vast amount of Caucasians there who migrated at any time. You're not fooling me.

You're country has less than 5 percent of African and Middle Eastern put together and I'm being generous with that number.

So Bloomberg and the Financial Times are not reputable? Ok...
I don't see anywhere in your, say, Bloomberg link that says crime has doubled in Germany due to immigrants. There is this...
It turned out the asylum seekers had reversed the decreasing violent crime trend in Lower Saxony. While such crime went down by 21.9 percent between 2007 and 2014, it was up again by 10.4 percent by the end of 2016. Some 83 percent of the cases were solved -- and 92.1 percent of the increase was attributable to the newcomers.

92.1% of an increase is not an increase of 92.1%. Do you understand that? I'll help you with the math if you don't.

So why don't you point out the specific passage in any of your links that says immigrants have doubled the crime rate in Germany.

Even a one percent increase in crime because of them is too much. Worldwide they are turning cities into filth.

Germany isn't the only country realizing the immigration experiment was a failure. Quite a few countries are realizing it and finally addressing the issue.

So you think it’s people from Africa and the ME who are doubling the crime rate, eh? Those are not the people destroying democracy. The ones destroying democracy are idiots like Proud Boys / Reichsbürger militias so deluded as to imagine that by storming the Capitol / Bundestag with a few firearms and kidnapping a Vice President / minister, they are going to bring down the federal govt. Wake up and smell the coffee.

If they are stupid enough to believe Qanon theories and that Trump and Putin are here to save western civilisation I guess anything is possible.
But mainly they are just nasty pieces of work

It’s an alarming development, that people allow themselves to get trapped in a filter bubble which feeds them conspiracy theories and alternative facts. I am very much in favor of legislation which holds social media platforms accountable and liable for content, same as print media.

Me too if people want to know why freedom of speech has to have limits they can just look at this mob and trumps base.
The idea that the third reich was never legally overturned by the German people which renders the current German political settlement null and void is interesting but I don’t fancy it’s chances if they put it to a vote now.

Well, that's just the point: The Reichsbürger/Oath Takers/Trump mentally is that elections they don't win are all rigged, that's why they think they are justified in vigilantism and the use of chicanery and even force to nullify election results.

In Germany, it is a crime to advocate setting the German constitution (Grundgesetz) aside. A man such as Trump posting on social media that the Constitution should be set aside would already have been committing a crime, in Germany.

In America, a man, who once swore an oath to uphold the Constitution, advocating that it be set aside has voided his claim to be fit for high office. That the Rep. Party does not denounce him for this latest outrage against democracy is a declaration of bankruptcy.

EDIT: for those who read German:

https://www.tagesschau.de/investigativ/ndr-wdr/razzia-reichsbuerger-staatsstreich-geplant-101.html

These IDIOTS thought they would be re-instating the monarchy and even had a blue-blooded prince, Heinrich the 13th (unlucky number if ever there was one), lined up, with a handful of ex-paratroopers. What a bunch of deluded losers. Just like the Oath Takers and Proud Boys.

If they hadn't secured a cache of firearms, no easy thing to do in Germany where there is very strict and effective gun control, I would have said this was utterly laughable.

PostScript: the conspiracy theorists are having a field day with this story on social media in Germany. Some are now claiming that the attempted putsch was faked by the German police to distract from another incident currently in the news in Germany, that an Eritrean man fatally stabbed a 14-yr old Turkish girl on her way to school. Ever deeper down the rabbit hole …. 🙄

Your own reasoning is less than impressive. Crime has been dropping in Germany for 6 years, and you say Germans are "fed up" with crime having "doubled" due to "immigration."

At no point in the graph at the link I provided is there anything close to a doubling of the crime rate, and it goes back to 2000. The biggest "jump is about 7.6% from 2010 to 2015.

So either dig up some hard facts from a reputable source or go pound sand.
The caveat about crime rates is this: what the actual numbers are does not always reflect what the man on the Clapham omnibus FEELS to be so. If people are afraid, it doesn‘t matter what the real number of crimes is, whether rising or falling. A man who is afraid will say that the crime rate is intolerable, whatever it is in actual numbers (any number higher than zero, and even then a potential number higher than zero will frighten him, viz @booger).

Denial is a stinky cologne.

You live in, ...quite possibly,... the whitest country on earth so what do you know about cities with immigration and the crime and decay that comes with it? Getting your facts from the BBC and CNN who are too scared to tell the truth about the matter?

Countries are waking up to the failed immigration problem.

I'm old enough to have seen once great cities turn to filth because of immigration. Why do you think their original county is crap and where they end up turns to crap? You think that's a coincidence? Oh I'm sure you'll blame the white man for whatever failures the immigrants have because that is your denial strategy.

The truth is we are not the same and different races have different skill sets and morality norms.
A leopard can't change its spots no matter where it immigrates to.

Same psychological profile as those who believe Trump won in 2020: disgruntled people who mass-consume fake news and blame immigrants for whatever they feel is wrong with the country.
You've convinced me of the error of my ways.

Where do I sign up to be communist?

"and 92.1 percent of the increase was attributable to the newcomers."

So 92 percent of the increase in crime was due to immigrants and you think that's ok?
Thousands of victims due to immigrants and you're ok with it just because they aren't white.

You're pathetic.

How's Philadelphia these days? 🤣

Did Heinrich the 13th have anything to do with the conspiracy to overthrow the German government?
