Whoever is calling it blackmail is a freeloader refusing to pay for gas they use.
Russia wants to be paid in Russian currency just like the USA wants to be paid in US dollars. In fact, the USA will invade nations to make sure people pay for oil in US dollars.

-Removed-What choice does Germany have, the sanctions are meant to be long term and strategic, they are not designed to destroy the economy of Western Europe.
But surely if they are slave states they wouldn’t be any need for “marshalling unity” these states would just get their orders from the parliament or commission and carry them out.
