Since the sexual assault allegations concern behavior that occurred when Kavanaugh was very drunk according to his (alleged) victims, his use of alcohol at the time is extremely relevant. That is why he lied and tried to minimize the same in his testimony.

What does that have to do with the alleged facts that Kavanaugh was very drunk when he attacked Blasey Ford and when he exposed himself to Deborah Ramirez?

"Alleged"
It seems certain that Kavanaugh lied when he minimized his use of alcohol in high school and college based on extrinsic evidence including his high school yearbook and the calendar he presented.
Why do you think he did so?
