@teinosuke saidThat is quite the strawman. Merely pointing out progress in gender and race relations doesn't equate to claiming minorities and women are better, does it? What does it say about posters in this thread that they immediately assume this?
This only goes to show that women and minorities can occupy positions of power while still pursuing a reactionary political agenda.
Basically, on September 7th 2022, the most progressive of those five people in positions of high authority was our 96-year-old Queen.
Celebrating the fact that Braverman or Kwarteng held high offices of state is like celebrating the fact ...[text shortened]... o be a woman doesn't alter the fact that she is likely to go down as the worst PM since Chamberlain.
I think it's progress that no one blames the failures of Truss or May on gender. Just like it's progress that no one blames Thomas being a horrible Justice on his race. Nothing wrong with pointing that out.

@sleepyguy saidExamine yourself and why merely pointing out UK leadership is the most diverse it's ever been angers you.
Oh well then. LOL.
I cannot imagine a less interesting pair of pathetic wokesters.
@sleepyguy saidA future where being white and male is not a requirement for office.
Progress toward ... what? A future in which judgement based on race or gender gives way to judgement on content of character and merit? Conservatives are way ahead of you race obsessed lefties. Quit dragging your knuckles and catch up already.

@sleepyguy saidIt's a libtard thing, race/gender/sexuality is all they care about, qualifications don't even get considered.
That kind of race and gender bean counting could not be less interesting.

@sleepyguy saidFine. Let's go back to making fun of Liz Truss. What a dumbass,
Not angers, bores.
I've asked twice about who might replace Liz, but you just want to keep banging on about race and gender. Whatever.
Who'll replace her? I wonder why they don't select Jeremy Hunt. Everyone says he's really the one running the show.
