Smoked for 15 years... til the kids asthma was getting bad and my broncytis was choking me and my mate threatened to piss on my desk if I smoked in the office when they weren't there for stinking their gear. blah blah blah

Prohibition will not work - but maybe Amsterdam style smoking cafes could provide a haven for all the addicts that would suddenly become criminals if they smoked again.
It would be a fitter healthier service with many fire risks and hygene issues dealt with instantly.
