@kingdavid403 saidI paid my loan off without putting the burden of my loan on anyone else. You brag now about making others pay your debt.
My analysis concluded that the sky is not falling and that fascist pos control freaks as you should be removed from the USA.
Who do things right?
I've never defaulted on my current student loans. I went to college back in 1981-84 and paid off those student loans no problem. What have you ever done right in your worthless life? Attempt to force rape victim's ...[text shortened]... e joe, Mott, and earl, Thanks suckers. Now maybe you'll move to China where you belong. Bye bye...
@kellyjay saidI didn't make anyone do anything liar. As I said, I was, and am, paying my student loan debt; and, I've never defaulted. I didn't ask for anything either; but I'm thankful for what I have received. If that comes out of your phony Christian pocket, it makes me even more joyful. Thanks sucker. 🙂

You brag about forcing 10 year-old rape victims to carry an egg with a sperm-cell in it from their rapist to an actual baby. Your attempts to play God in others lives are extremely sick.
What's worse lying loser?
Two points:
1) Student loans are now the property of the US government and the debt is now owed to Uncle Sam. The Biden plan will essentially act as a targeted working and middle class tax cut. Reductions in these people's debt will be beneficial to them in many ways making funds available for other purposes and increasing their credit scores;
2) The total amount of debt forgiven will be around $300 billion. Even assuming that every cent of this debt would have been paid (an unrealistic assumption), it will still be considerably less than the $400 billion in PPE loans the government forgave under the last two administrations. Much of that relief went to franchises of large corporations and some went to about two dozen members of Congress of both parties. There has been little outcry over that debt forgiveness.
Lastly, student debt forgiveness was part of the platform Biden ran on in 2020. Those who objected to it had ample opportunity to show their displeasure at the ballot box. However, Biden won and elections have consequences. This was certainly an expected one.
@sonhouse saidThen everyone who sees the hell and inequity of this is a fool. The professor of Wharton and one of Kellog yesterday interviewed, seem to disagree with you. I’m going with YOU Sonhouse.
@AverageJoe1
That is a stupid zombie argument. You make a prediction that will not come true. They increase their fees almost every year anyway.
They don't need the loan forgive to raise fees.
And OF COURSE you know little about the kids who actually HAVE such debt.
Whitey pays off 95%, blacks much less because they don't make as much and black women are at the bottom of ...[text shortened]... by the zombie cult to see how that money will help the economy and the future of science in the US.
I've pondered the matter of student loan forgiveness in the past. At first my thinking was along these lines: if we let more recent students off the hook, how is that fair to those who incurred student debts in prior decades which they had to pay off entirely themselves?
But we are not talking about tossing out all of a student's debts, just ten or twenty grand. And more to the point, the cost of being a student has skyrocketed far ahead of inflation over the past quarter century, and at least in the case of public universities this is partly attributable to a pervasive neglect of higher education by state governments.
That's right, oldsters (which includes myself): your university education in the 1960s, 70s, or 80s was cheap because the government was subsidizing a fair chunk of it. You got handouts and freebies -- "free stuff" in AvJoe parlance -- and never had to pay it back. We could talk all day about the pillaging of the commons that started in the Reagan years, but the fact is that government divested itself from the time-honored tradition of subsidizing higher education.
So, student debt up to the end of the twentieth century was but a pittance compared to today. Students today live in a society that practically requires one to get a college degree to get anywhere in life while at the same lacking any willingness to invest in higher education. In other words society wants all the benefits of having a highly educated workforce, but doesn't want to pay for it. So, if it's not all about cheap gas and low taxes, then 'Murica ain't interested -- but gimme, gimme, gimme those high-brow workers please!
So I see partial student loan forgiveness as a way to offset the hurts inflicted upon today's students by a lately callous and selfish society that is unwilling to invest in their education in the same way it helped previous generations. It doesn't fix the things wrong with higher education, but it is fair.
@kingdavid403 saidRape? What in the hell…….

Anyway, Great, So here we have David of the Israelites telling us all about his personal story, that he paid his debt. So did I,David.
So why did you tell us that? Because it is the right thing to do? And you were bragging about it? Well then how in the hell can you turn around and approve someone else pay the tuition loans of the losers that are poor planners?
Hypocrisy? What is it with you David?
@no1marauder saidBut, but, I thought all you people have said Biden won because they would elect anyone besides Trump. So you are this saying that there was no consideration given to payment and forgiveness of loans….Only to getting rid of Trump.

@averagejoe1 saidI find it alternately fascinating and pitiable that every worldly affair boils down to Biden vs. Trump in your tiny little mind.

@no1marauder saidI don’t know what has that statement has got to do with anything. Are you trying to convince the jesters of the world that when people voted for Biden that they were thinking Trump would not forgive such debts!?? Hahaha
Would Trump have forgiven any student loan debt?
@soothfast saidWelll, as they are as different as any 2 men can be, presidencies notwithstanding, why would you find my comment to be not a reasonable logical comment.
I find it alternately fascinating and pitiable that every worldly affair boils down to Biden vs. Trump in your tiny little mind.
None of us here understand what you are meaning here.
Regressive, expensive mistake. WAPO has an extremely liberal editorial board. They just said this about Biden’s slime.
So who do you believe…Sonhouse and his lieutenant Marauder, or biased studied editors who are turning on the pitiful sick Biden.
I did predict gone by August, which he would have been had not Ukraine happened. He still won’t last many more months. He is not unlike an angry (like you people) mummy.
@averagejoe1 saidPeople knew the difference in policy they would get by voting for Biden instead of Trump.
