A 1% tax increase raises retail prices by 0.17%, so the answer is that some corporate taxes are passed on to to consumers.

The better question is: who should bear the burden of paying taxes? I am sure a consumer would welcome the idea of a 0.17% increase in consumer prices if it meant a 1% reduction in their taxes.
