what says the peanut gallery?
What I find more interesting is the fact that a significant number of US citizens knew they were lies at the time, yet still supported the war and still supported their administration. Only when the war started going badly did people start speaking up.

Maybe the world press did not report this, I know the US press did not, but there were massive protests in many US cities. I know I participated in one that was 30,000 people+ in Portland Oregon (Metro Pop around 1.5mill. Bush lovingly names 'Little Beruit'πŸ˜‰. Many US Citizens wanted to believe the government at the time, but believe me, many did not. We just were not heard.

935 times? It's a whitewash. I'm sure the real total exceeded 10,000.

And the Dems. didn't know about this all along? So, what are they going to do about it? Nothing, i would suggest. I, guite frankly, don't trust any politician anymore. I was actually thinking of voting for Hillary; thinking, how much worse can it get. I have now discovered that i'd rather have Gene Simmons ( of KISS ) lick his dog's butt, stick his tongue s ...[text shortened]... down my throat and tickle my roids, than vote for anyone.

Peanut Popping Fascist Granny.
Oh come, please...

You didn't think the story sounded dodgy at the time?
Years of sanctions and weapons inspectors... and nothing being found. What-so-ever?

You really thought Saddam was married with Bin Laden and that together they danced around super nuclear missiles which could destroy Europe within 45 minutes of a camel orgasming?

Come now.

Surely you're not that much of a sucker!

Anyways, more importantly for everyone here.
What does this do to the US's credibility about their claims about Iran?

Agreed. And yes, Bush and the rest of his admin lied, but that should have been obvious to all but the right-wing partisans. The major players in his admin wanted to sell the war, and a lot of the American people wanted to be sold on it. Fortunately, most Americans are honest and genuine enough to admit their mistake later. Naturally, the nuthuggers, who care little for the issues anyway, will squeal and moan and recite every unlikely excuse in an effort to obscure history. It's just part of their pathetic game.

At this point though, I couldn't care less (thank you, uzless πŸ™‚ ) about how many times Bush lied. Obviously, he lied. No, we aren't going to impeach him, so let's get on with our lives and work toward making the best of the Iraq mess.

Sarcasm but oh so true.

Anything that doesn't confirm the inherent brilliance of the republican/conservative ideology is dismissed out of hand.

Think of little kids with their fingers in their ears saying, 'I can't hear you! La la la laaa.'
This means that Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and any other Democrat who voted for going to war with Iraq have innocent blood on their hands because they could have stopped it! Kinda makes you wonder what they got out of the deal, eh?

Only 30,000? You must be joking...that's nothing of note. You lot turn out double that number when Starbucks runs out of heavy cream! 😲

I did buy the Nukulear lie, but i did not buy the all out war. We could have taken those sites out with air strikes alone, or let the French do it.

Yes, i was a sucker, but then i don't have any crystal balls to gaze into, as you do.

Iran?....No war with Iran. We'll could just buy them off as we did with N. Korea.
