@beowulf saidJust like the discussion of Hitler.
Having classes where people identify as Victim or Oppressor is one example.
Using slavery as an excuse for failure is another example.
At the end of the day it doesn't matter because intelligent people know who is who in the grand scheme of things 😉
Nobody ever mentions all the good stuff he did.
He built The Autobahn, years before we built the Interstate System.
He ended the depression in Germany
through massive government spending.
Germany had one of the finest state supported
medical care systems in the world.
He commissioned Ferdinand Porshe to build a people's car,
and 'The Volkswagen' was born. Even though no German
citizen ever received one, during The Third Reich,'
it's the thought that counts, right?
And what about rocketry? Hitler financed Werner Vin Braun;s,
ambitions to develop rockets. Von Braun
proudly claimed to 'Aim at the Stars,'(the title of his book)
his rockets only got as far as London, but still it was a breakthrough.
And did any of you know that, in The 1936 Olympics Hitler
introduced the, now iconic, lighting of 'The Olympic Flame?'
..........Well sure, maybe he did go a little overboard with that Jewish
thing, but he also dd the same to Gypsy and Homosexual people
and you don't hear them griping............
..........In fact we can also thank Der Fuhrer for an everyday phrase we use,
akin to 'The Whole Nine Yards,' how 'bout 'The Final Solution?'
@mghrn55 saidIt's just another non-issue, manufactured
Being from Canada and not totally familiar with the intricacies of the issue, I may be off base on some of this.
But I have to ask.
Is CRT making blacks hate whites ??
From everything I have read this seems like a basic assumption in the entire debate.
I'll ask again.
Is CRT making blacks hate whites ??
Or is this just being conjured up for debate purposes ?
by The GOP to stir up their bigoted base..
.Looky, already got CANADA and jj goin'.
This isn't even a course really offered,kinda' like antifa' isn't really an organization.
Like I've said many times....criticize and obstruct.
In this case they're criticizing something that doesn't even exist.
REMEMBER---DEATH PANELS?----HOW ABOUT SHARIA LAW?
'These guys NEVER, EVER offer up new ideas.
@Earl-of-Trumps
Well the way blacks are treated in court is clearly racist. You drive down the highway, see a cop pull over someone, chances are that person is black. And of course whitey does some law breaking while driving but a white girl flashes her eyes at the cop and he say's ok, I am just writing a warning this time, but if it was a black dude, YOU WERE SPEEDING HERE IS YOUR TICKET, SIGN here.
That happens a lot or maybe you never heard of Floyd? Or Rodney? Or kids found with 50 bullet holes in them, when a white kid would have gotten a leg wound or some such? You seriously think there is no racial bias in the way cops treat blacks V whites?
Can you give me a serious answer instead of arrogant noise?BTW the last word was originally snigggering so I have to disguise it so I can mention what gets caught by the robo cop. Notice how close it is to the N word?
@jj-adams saidA right wing article on CRT? No I’d rather smear doggy doodoo on my favourite donut. And the bender of the idiot racist makes not one jot of difference. CRT is about telling the historical and current truth only criminals fear the truth.
The teacher is a woman, you obviously didn't read the article so you have no idea what she said.
It’s BS distraction from what the ultra right wing GOP has in store for the US. Fear mongering amongst anyone stupid enough to fall for it and racist red meat for the Trump base.
@vivify saidWhich he recanted fully, saying he misunderstood it:
Earlier this year Republican Senator Mike Braun said he would be okay with the Supreme Court striking down Loving vs. Virginia, which protects interracial marriage.
Now we're at the point where the House actually had to vote on a bill protecting interracial marriage from being struck down, just yesterday.
I don't think blacks generally have an "abundance of hate" for whites but it absolutely would be justified if they did.
"Earlier during a virtual press conference I misunderstood a line of questioning that ended up being about interracial marriage, and let me be clear on that issue — there is no question the Constitution prohibits discrimination of any kind based on race. That is not something that is even up for debate, and I condemn racism in any form, at all levels and by any states, entities, or individuals,” Braun said.

... and if he didn't recant it, he would likely be ousted from the GOP, just like Rep. Steve King...
But you are going to sit here and tell us that it is justified for one race to hate another based off of the other races actions?
That is absurd.
Tell me, again, what actions justify the hatred of whites by blacks? I ask you only in this direction because I assume this is the only direction you believe it should go in.
@philokalia saidBraun can backtrack all he wants but his comments were clear:

He clearly said the legality of interracial marriage should be decided by the states. So his claim to "condemn" racism falls on deaf ears when he believes states should have the power to create racist laws if they want.
Remember, Trump's SCOTUS picks also said abortion was protected by the Constitution before proving their words were lies by voting to overturn it. The GOP is a party of liars.
And I never said blacks had "hatred" for whites; I said they would be justified if they did.
@vivify saidOh, yeah, ''Settled law.''

@vivify saidOh, so I guess when Biden misspeaks himself because of a misunderstanding he gets a pass, even though he never retracts, but a guy that says "No, that's not what I meant" is held to an ironclad contract.

OK. got it.
@jj-adams saidJust yesterday I agreed with a conservative who called Biden a "retard".

So eat a dick.
@sonhouse saidThat's why they are being released with no bail , right?
@Earl-of-Trumps
Well the way blacks are treated in court is clearly racist.
Then get out to do it again 50 times more, because the courts are so racist.
Right?
