Crowded House was the biggest.. they were Aussie but Kiwi Neil Finn (ex Split Ends) joined them wrote the songs and lead the group to stardom.
Has anyone heard of a crooner called John Rowles who played the big clubs in Vegas and Honalulu?
Some may know Sam Neill the actor.
Did anyone watch a movie called Whale Rider up there?
We are doing the debating down here.. a bunch of people in local tv and entertainment circles keep going on about the wonderful overseas success of kiwi talent.. but I never met any family or friends in Uk that had heard of anyone.. curious?
