@divegeester saidnothing will change its the voice of the establishment, the power behind the crown.
The BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) is a corrupt, biased and morally broken organisation.
I have been on record for years in this forum, criticising the BBC for its corrupt and biased news reporting during the Brexit referendum build up and calamitous post referendum years. I have also complained elsewhere about the way the BBC is funded; I.e. by mandatory TV l ...[text shortened]... government takes this opportunity to rid us of has become a broadcasting blight and national shame.

The post that was quoted here has been removedAhh ‘amplified’ perhaps the bbc should get clearance from Beijing before publishing the truth about China's treatment of the Uighur. The duchess clearly only believes in the press and broadcasters having the freedom to print and air stories that she and the CCP approve of.
Sorry but that’s not how it works in democracies. You have the right, as does the CCP to push an alternative narrative but telling the truth as you see it is not demonising anyone.
@badradger saidRidiculous.
nothing will change its the voice of the establishment, the power behind the crown.
@kevcvs57 saidLol. If there is something specific I said which you feel is factually untrue then please feel free to point it out.
Yeah I read your fanatical right wing hatchet job of the BBC it’s hardly a new tune for you is it.
Perhaps you should watch the media this weekend if you think what I said is a “hatchet job”! The situation is utterly disgusting, Hall has already gone from his role at the National Galleries and there will be plenty of others.
Personally I would completely restructure the entire organisation, and do root out the corrupt inherent socialism ideology driving it, including the archaic “licence fee”.
The rest of your post is just your usual dispensary of whataboutism.

@divegeester saidMore disgusting than what the mogul media companies get up to? Yeah I’m sure your right about that. Storm in a teacup whipped up Murdochs lackies in the Tory party.

How sick a joke is it that the same week that Boris and Cameron along with half the cabinet have been found with their sticky fingers in the treasury pie that this is what the right wing media are freaking out about.
The UK A country run by scum for scum. Do you remember when you were telling us we had to leave the EU because of its endemic corruption and gravy train politics 😂😂

@kevcvs57 saidPlease, no more whataboutisms. It really will be your downfall in here.

@divegeester
All I know is that when I compare a BBC television drama with an American-made production, BBC wins handily. BBC usually involves thinking, USA too often relies on childish plots, visual effects and CGI..
@handyandy saidThe standards set and expected by the viewing public in the UK for the BBC are not benchmarked against a random selection of dire quality US broadcasts. Besides, the issue here is not the quality of BBC drama productions, the issue is deep corruption in the news reporting arm of the corporation.

Why was Martin Bashir rehired in 2016 by the BBC, by the then Director General Lord Hall (now recently unemployed) when he already knew that he had faked evidences to secure the interview with Princess Diana in 1995? Why did he then promote him? Why would he do that? Ass covering and securing he kept his mouth shut. Bribery at the highest level, and by a Peer!
Don’t be fooled by BBC drama; the only reason the drama is so good is because of the hundreds of millions raised in mandatory licence fees from us saps. I don’t want to pay £150 a year to watch a couple of drama series and the BBC news is so biased you can hardly believe any of it. The BBC reporting during the Brexit referendum and the four years after it was gob-smackingly biased. Johnson has already shot a rocket up the corporation’s ass since he got into power, but it’s not enough.
This latest pile of corruption reeks of everything that is bad about socialism style of funding TV broadcasting and I’m sick of it.
@divegeester saidThere is no socialism in the BBC ,name 1 presenter thats not a tory?
