@AverageJoe1 saidWhy do you throw sonhouse into the conversation and spell his name sunhouse? That is a very Trump like thing to do which probably where you got the idea from.
My first sentence above,,,”I don’t regard you personally…”
And here you go, right out of the gate, cast issues aside.
Do you know, since you are into that, why don’t you entertain us all, regard Sunhouse personally. That could be a lot of fun.
Do that…, our discussion, as usual, dies on the vine as all of them do, when y’all have no argument. Or go get a po ...[text shortened]... se it to fix all of the problems that were caused by the people who are trying to get all the money.
You seem very fixated on money and how much people make, then say you don't care about these things. Well Sir, I say if you didn't talk about them you're argument about not caring would seem more valid in my opinion. Whether someone is successful or not and what they do isn't all that important. The guy digging the ditch is as much important as the guy who owns the factory as far as I am concerned.

VR, who has become angry, says, and I quote,.”That a guy digging a ditch is as much important as the guy who owns the factory “. He should follow that inane comment up by telling us what the 125 people on his payroll think about that. C’mon, VR. As the mayor drives to work, he sees and converses with man digging, making sure his employer is following OSHA guidelines, keepin him safe. He then drives by the factory, thinking how impt the factory is for the town. VR? Give me a break. My posts like this upset you all, simply because a realist and an idealist cannot live together in the same barnyard. A scavenger-type animal, like a goat, and a busy creature like a chicken creating an egg.
To be fair, are you speaking philosophically here.? Then you should say so, and make your point as the idealist you say you are. Go for it.
I, on the other hand, I am a realist, and I write my posts here as a realist.
As to why I mentioned Sunhouse, you liberals, all of you, like to speak personally about other posters. I was just being humorous to say there is not more of a character on the forum than Sunhouse, why don’t you write some fun personal stuff about him.
You said that I am fixated on money and how much people make. Liberals do nothing but post about getting money from people that have money. Like a bank robber, rob the bank because that’s where the money is. I am fixated on being successful in my own right and for my family, I am not fixated on what other people make. Liberals are fixated on what other people make. Geez

You are a POS, a POSTER BOY for POS. Yeah, a CEO is WAY more important than a janitor.
Right, so it should be ok to just off that stupid janitor, we have thousands more just like him and if he dies on the job, tough shyytte, was worthless anyway.
But our IMPERIAL CEO? He is our GOD.

Thank you for getting what I was talking about, it went right over AJoe's head. Without the fellow digging the ditch the factory owner wouldn't have sewage. Without the workers he has, no business at all. Just because someone owns something and can play golf all day doesn't mean they are any better. Just financially in a better place, and should be helping those not as well off as they are.
I hate it when people think they are better because of what position or money they have. I was once dirt poor, I know what it is like. I was able to work to where I am in a position where I can help others. I am more fortunate than many, but I wasn't born with silver spoon in my mouth.

@sonhouse saidIf the janitor at APPLE were hit by a truck, and then , Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, were hit by a truck, how would you assess that situation, given what you write here? They are certainly equal in the eyes of God, and the family of each will hold both of them in high esteem. They are indeed equal. We could do a thread on that, for sure. We would all agree, it would be a short thread.

This particular thread evolves from religion to politics, philosophy, and such and the answers are so bouncy all over that i mentioned how libs, such as yourself, cannot answer the issues. I used '"Some work harder than others' as an example". Well, it took off as a fifth subject matter on this thread.
So, well, here we are. On into economics, and then the pesky issue of some who work harder, or produce more, than others. So we come to the janitor and the CEO. In the world of economy, you have a janitor and a CEO, and you seem to take it all personally. Practically, in the econ world, the ceo is more impt than the janitor.

All man is equal in the eyes God and should be in the eyes of man but that obviously isn't the case in your thinking. Do you not think a CEO can not be replaced and maybe his/her replacement do an even better Job???

@Very-Rusty saidAsk the workers...."Who is more important to you, the janitor or your employer owner of the factory??" They may respond "You may as well ask us who is more important,,,the Mesopotamians who invented sewers and the ensuing janitors,, or our employer"?

Everyone is just as important as the next person. Everyone has their own part to play or the business isn't a success. Without the worker you don't have a factory. That is the point you don't seem to be able to comprehend

@Very-Rusty saidYou see that you clearly resort to the 'personality' here. You resort to Tim Cook....... Tim, husband and father of 4.

So, if I had simply said in my example.......The Janitor is hit by a truck, and 'The CEO" of apple is hit by a truck....", it would not change this discussion. A new CEO would be on the scene the next day, and HE would be among the most important in today's society.
In our economy as the wheels turn on Wall Street and all over out lands, the CEOs are real important, to keep things moving, providing jobs, and providing cell phones.
This sounds unfeeling, but you put me on the spot...the janitor himself would be replaced in 5 minutes.

So figure the janitor is replaced in 5 minutes? What makes you think the CEO couldn't be replaced in 5 minutes??? Always someone waiting for a spot just a rung down the ladder. A life time of experience has taught me that little lesson. Everyone is replaceable! At least their spot can be filled doesn't make them as good at the Job, no matter what that job happens to be.

@Very-Rusty saidEasy. There would have to be a documented Board Meeting, the quorum, the whole works, hard to get many people together in a short period of time. You know that Rusty, you messin' w me!?!? 😉

The janitor wojud be replaced in 5 minutes by a supervisor.
And yes, everyone is replaceable.

That is the point everyone is equal, everyone can be replaced no matter what their position status happens to be. The CEO would be replaced in 5 minutes by the Board if they didn't already have a replacement in mind before he passed, then it would happen before 5 minutes, wouldn't take that long for Vote!
