So it's not the centuries of oppression from whites toward blacks, Native Americans, Asians, etc. that bothers you, it's that calling out the privileges gained from that oppression hurts your feelings.

There are still people alive who were beaten and sprayed with high-pressure hoses just for peacefully protesting against racial injustice. Police are still shooting non-violent unarmed black men in the back. A president endorsed multiple times by the KKK is in office. That same president hired Stephen Miller, an outspoken and proud white supremacist, as his senior advisor.

This isn't "ages ago". This is happening NOW.

Diversity training is telling white folks that racism is rampant in the US and SOME of them might get the point, and if those are cops then maybe one less black kid will be shot in the back by cops.

Of course that is too far above your pay grade to understand.

Diversity training isn't targeted only at whites.

Diversity training aims to educate people about the sensitives, issue and concerns that face people of different, genders, races, ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, etc., and how to improve understanding, relations and respect for each.
