Educating people isn't the same as telling them what to think.
of course it is

So it's not the centuries of oppression from whites toward blacks, Native Americans, Asians, etc. that bothers you, it's that calling out the privileges gained from that oppression hurts your feelings.

GFY.
What oppression did any white person today do?
Isn't blaming "all white people" racism???

Liberals clearly want to insult and divide.

“ If these propaganda artists want to talk about "sensitivity" they should first go
to "sensitivity training" themselves to understand that white people are
sensitive to the term WHITE PRIVILEGE and perhaps use some other
term like, "black disadvantage."

Why do you sneak these good points into a shouty emboldened rant defending an obviously racially politicised stunt by Trump when you could start a thread about it?
...racially politicised stunt by Trump

Kev, it is a cleverly crafted politicized stunt by white liberals to insult people.
Trump should declare such talk "hate speech".

We thank them for it!

Our numbers are exploding daily because of the anti white brigade.

Rise and Rise again!

@vivify
Diversity training aims to educate people about the sensitives, issue and concerns that face people of different, genders, races, ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, etc., and how to improve understanding, relations and respect for each.

The concerns of different races...? LOL please. They are INSULTIVE in their "training"

Deliberately.

Who's going to educate the educators and tell them how harmful and insensitive their remarks are?

LMFAO. "Insultive"?

The education of Trump supporters, folks.

Except they leave out the part where they explain that straight and white are people too.
You don't have to "explain" to the "straight and white" that the "straight and white" are people too.

But you DO have to explain to that same "straight and white" majority that gay and black people are people too. And we're not surprised that you reject that.

Trump Bans Diversity Training, Claiming It’s Divisive, Anti-American Propaganda

President Trump just made a major announcement that will surely have a huge impact on the diversity, equity and inclusion industry. Trump is now pro ...[text shortened]... sue will not make it go away. It will grow more insidious and resilient as each year passes.
Diversity: lots of different people on the workfloor.

Inclusion: including lots of people’s needs and wants in decision making.

Equity: shareholders return? Body of law in England (whatever the hell that means)?

I’ve got for some colleagues who constantly want to discuss “DIE” with me.
Now, the first two elements I comprehend (although I do believe they understand a new meaning in the terms), but the equity is boggling my mind.

What’s equity got to do with black, gay Jewish transfolk on the workfloor?

A serious question, by the way!

And, on a side note: are my noted definitins of diversity and inclusion correct?

Cheers!

Earl I agree that “white privilege” is an unfortunate phrase and “black disadvantage” is more accurate and less offensive.
We have equality and diversity training every year and I’ve never heard either term used. It’s meant to address how one human being should treat another human being regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, religious beliefs and sexual orientation .
To stop this form of education is a racist and bigoted act in and of itself but hey it’s Trump so I won’t feign surprise or shock.

Ok. Sometimes we agree and sometimes we don't. All's cool.
