Billionaires need to borrow? He is a real estate mogul, not a builder of oil refineries. What does he need the credit for?

I think it is more likely he is intentionally taking a loss to take advantage of tax loopholes. That would explain why he doesn't want to release his taxes. Remember when Trump said "only he can fix it" in regards to tax loopholes? He doesn't want ...[text shortened]... contrary to capitalism. In reality Trump is a socialist for the wealthy and capitalist for the poor.
I, and many people, smart accountants, “use loopholes” all the time. You say that like there is something wrong with it. What in the world do you think those “loopholes’ are for. Your congressman put those loopholes there for a purpose, they keep the wheels greased in this economy.

I don’t get your other stuff, but I think you, again, purport to....know what he is thinking.?

Profiting from losing money is not contrary to capitalism. But your socialism is certainly contrary to capitalism. I don’t know how y’all sleep at night. Capitalism might be my shutting down a losing company, losing money, and then capitalizing, after so-called loopholing, into my other company, Create Jobs !, and create wealth ( the result of capitalism). I love this country.. Do you think Bernie will put a lot of brakes on what’s been going on for 240 years? Rats, then all I have been teaching my child is out the window, I will tell him to get his lunchpail and get ready to go to the govt-owned factory. Absolutely amazing. I guess the tax loopholes will be nonexistent, as well.

It's not complicated. He's doing it because he is broke and has been since the 90s, his cash-flow being maintained by his salary as an actor and through laundering money for the Russian mob.
You should get that information to a reporter, this is golden. Did you learn that on a thread, or on outside research?

I know it’s better to pay cash rather than interest if possible, and I know real estate is a very good investment in the medium to long term.
I also know that I would not invest in anyone or thing that was stupid enough to lend Trump any money given his history. Well not unless I thought he would put a shed load of public my way in a ‘quid pro quo’ arrangement.
Kev, paying cash is indeed usually NOT better than borrowing. You should google that if you are serious. There is an old tried and true adage. OPM. Other peoples money. Why not use money from another source to invest? Make a bank your partner?

Not news to reporters in the slightest. Here's some nice piece of investigative journalism, which is still sometimes done across the pond. Watch Trump running away scared after being quizzed about his mob ties:

Yes AJ I get the OPM thing when it comes to a capital venture like a start up business etc but not for buying a house mate them OPs will take the house from under your ass if you don’t repay the capital sum + interest.

Did not know there was a limit on when one can use other people's money. First I have heard of that. Let us assume Trump has, uhh, more than one house. Or 15. Not allowed to borrow OPM? Help me Rhonda. This must be off-the-cuff-dont-think day.

Still haven’t rationalised why anyone would lend a serial bankrupt money unless their was more to the deal than a stand up ideologue like yourself would ever be able to accept.

This person is a hack, no journalism of interest about it.

Get this. Frank Sinatra, loved by everyone, was SURROUNDED by mafia people, the leaders, the Dons, the gophers. So, if you have ever smiled listening to him sing My Funny Valentine, you can hardly put the Donald down for having the same acquaintances, now can you? So I will discount everything stated in the YouTube about mafia people, which is about all this piece by this hack is about. It is about OTHER PEOPLE, all the while dropping Trump's name in, so his peers will think he is really on to something.

So;, here is what you otherewise proffer here, which ain't much, it says nothing.
Built Trump Plaza, boasts of his wealth. (then you go into other people who are not clean). Then you say 4 of his businesses went bust. Got it. then you mention mafia. "trump bought his concrete from a mafia guy'. Got it. They shared a lawyer, Roy Cone. Got it. Then, he lost a billion, but made it back by 2004, got into reality TV. Got it. Then you mention a guy he knew who went to prison, Felix Slater. After prison, Slater defrauded in stock market. Then Slater informed on the Cosa Nostra. Got it. No mention of Trump, for the record. So, what is the point about Slater? Then a note is made about a Trump business deal that lost money for investors. That's life? Right?

Then back to Slater, the question is did Trump know about Slater racketeering. A question. Why, who knows, Certainly not the hack who made this You Tube. Then he languishes on about Slater crookedness, they a guy comes on to say what he THINKS abut what Trump thinks and knows. Jesus. Really enlightening You Tube, please send me more.

Slater is continually mentioned, and then the hack goes into how Slater reformed himself, and he did not reveal his conviction to the bank, I have no idea why the Hack is writing about Slater, not Trump. Then he says Sater built a project on bank fraud, or was it Trump? Jesus. "Sater's lawyer says that Sater will not comment on this and that,,,,,blah, blah, blah,,,,,Sater this, Sater that, and Sater is not connected with mob.", and then in a resounding finish, the Hack says.."Can anyone who did business with mafia and Slater be clean,..... Trump cannot wipe clean his brushes with the mob!!!!"

This is a real piece of crap, Nagorra, you are better than this. Why make folks hear this? It has nothing to do with Trump! It is about a guy name Sater (Typed Slater a few times.) You did like Sinatra, didn't you? Now I will pour Jack Daniel. Help me rhonda. You know, the VW website has a forum, now don't make me go over there!!

Well, my comment was a generic statement as to the concept of OPM, Katxanagorra made reference to Trump personally, so I just answered that way. I don't know why a bank would loan Trump money, unless they found out that all the stuff y'all say about him is not true!

Set 'em up, Joe... here's a little story you oughta know.

If Frank Sinatra were alive today, he'd tell you Donald Trump was a crook.

Guess the story got to you, huh? Is the reality that you've been conned by an obvious conman slowly starting to dawn on you?
