Trump, we have to agree, is a person who gets things done, a thinker, a motivator, etc etc. Smart, though not so likable.
If he were normal, team worker kinda guy, he could advise this administration of how to fix all the messes. He is a problem solver. But, alas, to do so and succeed, Biden would be at the helm when the dust settles. So, the Dems could win again i ...[text shortened]... into an abyss.
My point, there is a way out of all these messes, but we cannot use it. Downer
He doesn't get things done, he isn't a thinker and he isn't smart. He is a motivator though, thoroughly unlikeable and he is a lot of etc etc.
So we half agree

"He is a problem solver"
another great joke. He bankrupted like 4 times, he almost started a war with Iran, he is the laughing stock of the entire world. He couldn't solve removing toilet paper from his shoe
"But, alas, to do so and succeed, Biden would be at the helm when the dust settles. So, the Dems could win again in 2024, appearing to be successful."
So what you're saying basically is that he could sopve many of US's problems but he didn't during his presidency for some reason. Furthermore, he doesn't advise Biden now because he is a hateful prick who would rather see americans suffer than give Biden a political win.
Quite the confession there, joe

@zahlanzi saidI know and of course understand why we don’t like his ways. I respectfully agree with that. But we are talkin bout a President, leader, delegator, all the hats of a president. Donald does it better, and lest we not forget, our other ‘choice’ is a wavering senile old man with a history of wrong decisions. Look it up.

You are disingenuous to say he didn’t solve problems during his presidency. And you say he doesn’t get things done. Hell, just google Trump Veterans, or Trump Judge Appointments, etc. he was involved in running the country....joe is involved n everything bad, google THAT.
Imagine lib judges on Supreme Court . You see, libs go BEYOND their one job, which is interpreting the constitution as same applies to issues. They wouldUSE the court to legislate. They would APPROVE the efforts of our dictator wanna-be to mandate our lives. Brrrrrrrr
I vote Trump.
Which seems more like a dictator to you? Right.

@zahlanzi saidCool. So could you switch gears and check in on my Border post, esp with learned input, given Romania-Hungary problems. What would you do? Open Mexico up? Open Ukraine up? Let all invaders into all countries?

How 'bout that?
@Cliff-Mashburn
You mean be in charge like he was for the USDA, where he DECIMATED the science unit of the USDA because he was suppressing a paper suggesting rice loses near 20% of its nutritional value because Trump is an ardent climate change denier, JUST WHAT WE NEED IN A POTUS.
So he disappeared the science unit, gave the scientists the choice, move to Kansas or quit.
There was no building to go to, just empty rooms, no science to be had because Trump WANTED it that way.
That is not even CLOSE to being actual leadership because Trump has ZERO empathy with ANYONE, maybe with his daughter.
@averagejoe1 saidProblem solving on a large social scale requires several talents, including but not limited to:

1) long experience of how things work in politics (which is not like how business works);
2) respect for opposing points of view and a will to build consensus;
3) respect for procedures (such as the rule of law and elections, separation of powers, etc.);
4) respect for complicated expert advice (which may change in the middle of a crisis, as new knowledge and techniques become available), instead of ramming simplistic dogmatic ideas down people's throats;
none of which Trump possesses in the slightest degree. Therefore, Trump will not solve any problems America faces today or will likely be facing in 2024.

@averagejoe1 saidNo, we're not. Not if you mean Trump. He was the laughing stock of the civilised world, Putin's lapdog, Kim's buddy, couldn't hold a coherent speech to save his life - though admittedly he's great at stringing words together almost grammatically - and couldn't safely descend a staircase without holding a 90+-year-old woman's hand.
But we are talkin bout a President, leader, delegator, all the hats of a president.
He's about as presidential as Jed Clampett.

@averagejoe1 saidI've said in the past that Biden in a coma is better than Trump.
You like Biden better as a president?
I don't even want to contemplate what this Russia - Ukraine mess would be if Trump was president.

@mghrn55 saidIf T were pres, Putin would not even think about invading. Of course,, I could be wrong. Maybe he'd figure T wouldn't stop him!!!!

@averagejoe1 saidYou really believe that. No point trying to debate this with you.

Your experience of foreign affairs is roughly equivalent to that of seeing a saloon door swinging open and John Wayne walking though.
As I've said before ......
You have the world view of an ideological simpleton !!
@averagejoe1 saidI'm neither a moron nor a billionaire, so yes.
You like Biden better as a president?
@averagejoe1 saidBiden could molest a four-year-old on the Whitehouse lawn on national TV , then start throwing puppies into a wood chipper, and these people would still say "He's better than Trump".
You like Biden better as a president?
