@kewpie saidBut the fairy tales are always the same. It's like they're all reading the same Big Book of Republican Fairy Tales. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Devin Nunes (R-CA) read from the Big Book every day of the House impeachment hearings.
Don't blame all Republicans. They're not all like doody and metalhead.

@kewpie saidSome Republican politicians are waking up and publicly criticizing Trump. Ben Sasse, Rep. Senator from NE, and Romney, to mention two. And Raffensperger, GA election commissioner, is standing firm against Trump’s illegal attempt to extort a false election result.
Don't blame all Republicans. They're not all like doody and metalhead.

@divegeester saidMake that 16 days.
So you sympathise with him browbeating an election official?
Btw 8 days until the horrid orange blimp is gone, and gone forever.
@shavixmir saidI did. He just talked all over the man in that egotistical disjointed rambling that he does.
Did you hear the tape?
trump whining, threatening, begging and pleading.
If it wasn’t so funny, you’d feel sorry for the man.
His supporters have lost the plot completely.
The man is such an utter prick I cannot fathom how anyone could follow him. It’s frightening.

@dood111 saidYeah except everything trump does, including that phone call just makes it harder for the Republican candidates in Georgia.
Can you blame him?
If the Dems control the Senate and the House this country is screwed.
Face it fanboy Trump does whatever Trump thinks is best for Trump. He screwed the US for four years and he’s still screwing his loyal base. The guys a cockroach, kick him to the kerb sister.

@shavixmir saidAnd would do so again. That's the really scary bit.

@mghrn55 saidI think what's most revealing is we're finally hearing his truthful argument. The only thing at issue is that the wrong person won and you need to find 11,000 more votes for me. The claims of widespread election fraud and rigging and total unfairness are irrelevant.

Apparently, Trump pressuring Raffensperger to "find" some votes to overturn the Georgia Result.
Beyond desperation !!
Trump should resign so President Pence can give him a pardon.
Jan 20.

@wildgrass saidNo.

His phone call was about alleged election fraud amounting to hundreds of thousands of suspect ballots.
Then after presenting his "evidence", he essentially told Raffensperger "just give me Georgia".
That the claims of fraud are bogus are just another story that has been pushed to the back burner..
On another note, Trump went on Twitter later that night and stated he asked Raffensperger to investigate the allegations of fraud and that he refused.
Apparently, Raffensperger at this point had enough and leaked the tape to the Washington Post.
Good for him !!
Today, FOX Propaganda put out the story with the headline that the leak was "disgusting".
No Sir !! You can't make this stuff up !!
@wildgrass saidYes, I agree, all the allegations of fraud were clearly invented; so Trump falls back on "say you recalculated", after GA counted three times already. Nobody would believe it if GA flipped now. Trump shot his bolt. It's very difficult now for any Rep. Senator to ask for yet another investigation, after Trump essentially said "find" me a win in GA.
I think what's most revealing is we're finally hearing his truthful argument. The only thing at issue is that the wrong person won and you need to find 11,000 more votes for me. The claims of widespread election fraud and rigging and total unfairness are irrelevant.
Some of the more bizarre lines from his incoherent ramble are reprinted here, with commentary:

@shavixmir saidYes, they are the snowflake sheep they keep calling liberals. Truly, I don't get it either. It's like they stubbornly support him to keep from having to admit they stupidly fell for his con game.

@kewpie saidChip Roy, Representative from TX (Republican), hits the nail on the head:
Don't blame all Republicans. They're not all like doody and metalhead.
If the presidential result was fraudulent, then the down-ticket results must be, too. Bingo.
