It actually gets better: the effective GOP majority will probably be down to 217 seats vs. 215 for Democrats, because Dear Leader in his infinite genius has chosen 3 House members to join his administration. Special elections to replace the three GOP ass clowns won't happen until April...maybe. The backlash to Trump will likely be in full swing by April, so maybe the Democrats can pick up at least one of the seats.
And if Trump decides to declare martial law because of "gridlock" like the South Korean president just did, I expect that "revolution" will last about as long: six hours. And then he's gone. I think South Korea shows that crap like that won't fly anymore, and the silent majority of sane adults will rise up in protest.
So, MAGA ass clowns, there it is. Try to bring the troops into our cities, and you will fvcking lose. Dare you...
@Mott-The-Hoople saidHey...
when democrats START with 47% of the vote, yes it is quite amazing what Trump did
You...
Stop sniffing glue.

@Mott-The-Hoople saidThat you're on the wrong side of history, but you don't know it because you don't read history.
what is your debate point?
Build a time machine and ask a Nazi busy scapegoating minorities in 1935 where they would be in 10 years, and you can be sure "at the bottom of an ash heap" will never be the answer.
@Soothfast saidWe also should be looking at who to support in the mid-terms as well.
It's locked in. Republicans lost 2 seats in the House, so their razor-thin edge has been cut in half.
@Soothfast saidSome "mandate", yeah?

@Mott-The-Hoople saidBut. Not. Really. A. Win. Is. It?

Trump winning was actually a worst-case scenario for America.
@Soothfast saidWTF? lunatic shyt here

@Earl-of-Trumps saidNot even by 2%. Has Trump got you so badly that a win by 2% is now a wave? The fact that he did that well in the electoral college is more a feature of the electoral college. A sweeping wave is when the margin of victory is over 20%.
the reason @Soothfast would not answer my questions is because he knows I caught him "lying with statistics".
@Soothfast conveniently forgot to mention that Trump won the popular vote, 49.9% to Harris' 48.3%.
1.6% does not a red wave make. Sorry!
@Earl-of-Trumps saidSo it also involves the GOP losing 2 seats in the House, when it has only 4 to spare?
@kmax87
Kmax, the wave involves more than just the presidency.
@Soothfast
The only thing that matters about the house is... who holds the speaker's gavel
jelly?
@Earl-of-Trumps saidWhilst on the subject, the shift to the GOP is measured against 2020. And what was 2020 all about? Ah yes: a reaction to Trump's first term, which was a train wreck that accomplished next to nothing. Not even "the wall" got built, never mind having Mexico pay for it.
@kmax87
Kmax, the wave involves more than just the presidency.
That many voters are so foolish as to think trying Trump again is going to return a different result than the first time is just one more among a myriad commentaries on the folly of humanity and its sorry short-term memory.
