However, on planet reality, anyone voting for trump is mentally retarded. And anyone thinking Biden is actually a greater risk to democracy has been spoon fed idiotic propaganda for too long than is actually healthy.

The truth.

You godda be kidding. Biden is a bigger threat to democracy than Trump who started a multi level coup attempt like the one out in the open, Jan 6 and then the fake elector scheme and the phone calls like the one to the Sec. of State of Georgia, I need to find 11780 votes, are you claiming that is all BS, never happened?
You left out the stronghand of Biden who has, in dictator fashion, dictated to the Treasury to pay out close to a trillion dollars to peoplel with college degrees.
That is dictating little feller, no matter how you want to disguise it. Tell us that he did NOT dictate the payment of the loans.
Sonhouse, (stop thinking about Trump for 30 seconds) tell us that Biden did NOT dictate the payment of the loans by the government.
Reminds me of a cartoon in the early 60's, shows Castro at home plate with a bat ready to go, and he hollers out "Nationalize the Outfield!!"
Biden: "Pay Student Debts!!"

Sonhouse: You still there? Tell us that Biden did NOT dictate the payment of the loans.

RIght, Putin IS a dictator, you ever hear HIM say, let's help students by paying off their student loans?
Exactly what kind of dictator tries to help the common folk, eh?
Passing the infrastructure bill is the work of a dictator?
Getting the price of insulin to 35 bucks instead of its former 400 bucks is the work of a dictator?
Getting the chips bill passed putting BILLIONS into American manufacturing is the work of a dictator?

You have a twisted view on what a dictator is.

BTW you can kiss your own freedoms goodbye if Trump gets in again.

So you are swayed by government insulin controls, a legitimate sway, but I am not schooled on that, so you get a A for pointing that out. And here I thought he has done nothing.
You get an F for falling for his tuition payments, a Power-Play as a dictator, number one. Plus, violates his oath. But I digress, which makes my post sounds like your stuff.
You are aware, I am sure, that he did the tution thingy for votes.?

Was there a coup attempt? And have you toned down the Capitol occupation to be a coup now? What happened to insurrection?

And was robbing treasury to pay tuitions the move of a dictator?

And wreckless spending in mfg was wreckless.. you are wrong on that. You must be a govt guy. You and Shav should share a few pints.

I have never seen a bumper sticker “ I LOVE THE GOVERNMENT “. Nor one saying I Love Biden. I see I love my dog, or I Love Trump

It wasn't JUST the Jan 6 deal, that was just one arm of the attempted coup, you don't find it a tiny bit suspicious Trump called the Sec. of state of Georgia demanding 11780 votes, no bid deal? Or the fake electors which had Trump in up to his neck, just jokesters?
What do YOU think is going on here with Trump involved in three separate arms of the whatever you want to call the deal on Jan 6 and 3 or 4 hours going by with insiders at the WH PLEADING with Trump to stop the attack?
Or is that fake news also? You really need to wake up and smell the coffee and you will find it is definitely not coffee. It is called an attempted coup.
What do you think would have happened if he won?

Easy man, there was nothing to win. A few hundred protestors with no military backing up against the USA.
Please write believable stuff to chew on. As to Georgia vote stuff, that is the stuff politics, teh black lady Abrams still thinks she won Ga. It is the game of politics. Upsettedness goes with the territory.
For fun, tell us how Trump could have pulled off an insurrection?

You are living in la la land if you think Trump was not trying to take over and screw the peaceful transfer of power, one of the lynch pins of our democracy.
Or do you think he wasn't even doing that?

I won't deny that he was shocked, as we all were about a guy in his basement with a torrid background of lying and plagiarism, as well as always being on the wrong side in foreign affairs.
So we were all crazy in disbelief, and Trump just had to be sure. Didn't handle it so well, but I sorta don't blame him. I think I threw a flower pot against the wall and screamed across loudly over the fence at my neighbors. I think Hillary and also the Abrams Georgia candidate did the same thing.
Man, imagine what happens when Trump wins this time. Can you IMAGINE you and Sue and Kev and MB and everybody being the street hollering all together, no one understanding one thing they are saying, or what they are sayin.....like,, will it be the call to arms that never materialized on Jan 6?
So if you fault the Trump reaction, you are faulting mine!!! By golly!

I have no idea what that post is about. I asked some questions and you go off in right field having zero to do with whether you thought Trump interfered with the peaceful transfer of power. Why can't you just directly answer that question?
If he by some horrid quirk of fate T is reelected, he will do basically one thing, go after all those he perceived as enemies like Lawrence O Donnell or Racheal Maddow and most of the people at MSNBC. I can see him forcing his new AG to go after those folks even though they committed no crime except to be critical of Trump.

It would be a matter of opinion as to whether he interfered. I cannot opine, because I was not there. I didn’t get the timbre of his voice., instructions or private communications with his peers, any exact things about saying something such as a calling to arms, something which would in fact fall under the definition of an insurrection. Short of an insurrection, he ran around I guess like a crazy man and said that things were not right. let us say he overreacted, but I don’t see a direct interference, where he tried to move A to B ,if that makes any sense. How about asking a direct question yourself, stating one exact thing that he did without question, which would amount to blatant interference.? I have no reason to opine other than upon any truth you might provide.
Please do. And believe me, with all due respect, I have never read more than 40 words about January 6, or paid any attention to it. Find it meaningless, I find it past history, given what we are all facing in this country. You can look back at every post about January 6, where I have written absolutely nothing. Because I do not know anything about it. Maybe you and No1marauder need to open a thread for us all to watch you banter. The thing is, I would not care to follow it for any reason.

So all the testimony from the insiders there means nothing, all of them lying? I think you deliberately refrain from following the details so you can continually answer 'I just don't know that much about it'.

You asked did he interfere, I did the best i could since I don't know the facts. I know what Clinton did in the Oval Office, so I hereby condemn that.
I do not know if Trump interfered beyond what people like Hillary and Abrams did. Would you have been upset if he had asked for a re-count? Do you REALLY want to pepper the Forum with your usual old news?
OK. Here you go. I do not think he interfered, since nothing came of it. He showed that he was upset, he told the crowd to react peacefully. (are we talking about Jan 6, I don't even know). That is my answer.
Did uou see where that horrible alien looking woman tore up her Columbia diploma when she received it? You lot are so stupid....she will NOT get a good job, she may as well torn up her resume'!!!!
But wait, a woman like that? 10 years from now??? May be President!!

You make it sound like Trump supporters are extremely rare, but the truth is, if they held the election today, Trump would win.

BTW,, I root for Trump - mostly because I don't want a democrat, PERIOD.
