The ones doing the meat grinding are the vastly outnumbered Ukrainian forces and the Russians sent there don't have a clue as to how to run a real war, bombing and missile attacks on civilians, women and children in a deliberate attempt to use barbarian tactics to kill Ukranian moral. That tactic is not working, it INCREASED the moral to keep fighting the Russian barbarians. And barbarian is the EXACT right word for those Russians attacking civilians with military hardware, bombs and missiles.
