Before you express an opinion on people such as Lia Thomas, you may need to do some research. Otherwise you may make yourself look pretty ignorant.
This is an old website (2008) which attempts to explain intersex conditions in some detail, and offers links to other sources including medical ones. Once you've taken the time to read it, you may be tempted to vary the content of your posts.

@kewpie saidDo you REALLY, dear poster , think I would look that up? Would I follow Sonhouse and ‘look up’ Trump?

But while I have you, tell us, is he a man or a woman? Would you tell my wife’s 101 yr old grandmother that Lia is a woman, or a man.?
@averagejoe1 saidYou really are a black and white neanderthal, aren't you? Between black and white are an infinite number of greys. Grow up!

@averagejoe1 saidYou're raving again.
Define "recognizes her as a woman', please, Marauder . If I cone upon a zebra on an African Safari, and recognize 'it' as a cape buffalo, and shoot and kill it, can I tell my friends on snap-chat back at home that I just shot a cape buffalo??????????
I'm Killing you here, Marauder. Give it up.
The NCAA rules allowed Lia Thomas to compete in women's events. The beliefs of a bunch of ignorant yahoos like are posting in this thread are not binding on them.
Your question has been answered, idiot.
The real problem with this whole affair is the word "student-athletes". Your entire system of letting barely literate jocks get a university degree merely because they can throw a rubber egg up a field is disgraceful. If Lia Thomas is good enough to get into university on her intellectual powers, she should do that; whether or not she also is an athlete should be completely irrelevant to anything.
@averagejoe1 saidYou really worry about everything, don’t you?
What is the true, real motivation for UNPenn to do this? You folks surely know. Once again, AvJoe is clueless as to why, but, it is the truth. I report the truth.
@jj-adams saidIt is ridiculous.
South Park points out how ridiculous this is:

But what’s even more ridiculous is how much you all whine and complain about. Like any of you watch women’s sports anyway? Suddenly you all are feminists… just after banning abortions.
Seriously. You’re all fukked in the head.
@shavixmir saidNobody is claiming to be a feminist, we are just pointing out how retarded the liberals are.
It is ridiculous.

that is just hilarious as hell…coming from someone that thinks a man can become a woman 😂

@jj-adams saidThere are rules in those sports just like there are rules in the NCAA.
What if a heavyweight boxer wants to identify as a flyweight, should he be allowed to compete against someone 100 lbs lighter than him?
Or what if an entire pro-basketball team wants to identify as women, could they compete against girl teams?
Thomas followed them and was allowed to compete in women's events. Therefore, assuming she meets the other criteria (which she apparently does) there is no reason why she shouldn't be considered for the 2022 NCAA Women of the Year award.
