If the UK has no Prime Minister, there is a power vacuum.
That is very much not how it works in Europe.

Sorry, mchill, but all you're doing here is proving how little you understand of a country that's more complicated than your entire continent. Never mind the rest of our continent.

It’s probably fair to say that any party that has its front and centre types jostling to be lead dog will look a bit chaotic.
If they do not choose someone who can, at least to some extent, bring the disparate blocs together in September they will stumble into the next election and probably lose their majority.
Hah! In England? Not until we go back to the 1950s!

You mean the century which started with an empire where the sun never set and ended with the struggles, Thatcherite poverty, mass unemployment, drugs and booze culture, political scandal after scandal, all the top UK spies actually being Russian spies and hooliganism?

Yah… me pretty much think that the Netherlands or Scandanavian countries are the examples of European stability.

Ha you might have a point about the Scandinavian countries but you’ve spent too long in the cafe if your thinking the Netherlands is a paragon of stability in Europe.

One big war.

The first one, it was one of the major war-mongerers.

You missed a chance to say "coffeeshop".

You also missed that the EU's very first inspiration was the BeNeLux, and that for decades, Little England would have nothing to do with it.
