The post that was quoted here has been removedit would explain her priorities. Being carefree doesn't lead to being unemphatic to the unfortunate but being unemphatic towards the unfortunate can be explained by ones inability to relate because they don't have the same struggles.
"To her credit, she says that she devotes time to helping the less fortunate."
Very commendable. Helping the less fortunate and understanding them are two separate issues

"But we all knew he was clearly uninformed and unintelligent, to an almost spectacular degree. That Trump would mishandle a pandemic (or literally anything) was a given. "
He managed to stay rich despite fukin it up 4 times. Some guy who saw his job being outsourced hoped that he might abstain from messing up long enough to get him a job. Then how can you not grasp that claiming that there is no real difference between the candidates and publicly stating it is going to lead to more voter apathy. I don’t mean here amongst us I mean as a street level campaign strategy. Why would you expect Dems to fall in line with the Trump campaign strategy of voter suppression?
Clearly there is every reason to suspect that a Biden White House is not going be a radical agent of change for the better but unlike Trump it won’t be a radical agent of change for the worse.

I haven't said that. I said that for SOME, there isn't a real difference. Someone not being able to feed their children or afford healthcare won't care that Trump or Biden get to replace Ginsburg. Some poor parents whose child saw no choice but to join the army won't care whether Trump or Biden gets to send him to die in some country. A young guy not being able to afford healthcare won't care if Biden or Trump continue to not give him healthcare.
You are asking those people to care that for YOU it does matter if Biden is in the White House and not Trump. You are asking those people to trust that YOU (if you were american) will fight for them if Biden is elected to get them what THEY need.
Different people have different priorities and shaming them into voting for your priorities is a bit... insensitive.

When you can't afford insulin and you're one month away from possible death, there isn't much room to get any worse. It's hard to give a damn, you know?
I know what I would do if i were an american. I would stay in line and vote for Biden because that's who i want Sanders and AOC and Rho Khana to fight with. I can't in good conscience assume that choice is the best one and any who don't make that choice are less than.

Couldn’t agree more but what I’m advising, rather than asking, is that they play this Biden for POTUS game in order to avoid their situation from getting worse due to another four years of Trump.
This fight to take over the DNC needs to take place there not on the campaign trail. If that can’t be done then they need to start a populist third party and give the real liberal left somewhere to go at election time but it’s a bit late for this cycle so it’s all about damage control over the next four years.
