@vivify saidThe United States decided that Saudi Arabia is less offensive than Iran or Iraq or some of the other countries is the region. But as you recognize when you discuss the Saudi connection to 9/11, the Saudi's are somewhere between not so good and terrible allies and that's why Israel is seen as a much better ally.
Then why were conservatives okay with Trump selling weapons to Saudi Arabia?
Why were no conservatives upset that Trump had long been in a business relationship with Saudi Arabia, a country where two of the 9/11 hijackers came from?
If your claim was true, conservatives would've been in an uproar over Trump's coziness with terrorist regime like Saudi Arabia that beheads journalists.

The post that was quoted here has been removedThe idea that many American diplomats admitted to you stuff that they would not say public is pure fiction. Israel's interests are fair greater aligned with the US than any other country in the region and despite the racist lies of people like yourself they are by far the US's biggest ally in the region.
When Arab countries recognize Israel's right to exist, serious denounce terrorism including stopping of funding it and fully prosecuting and punishing those who engage in it, then perhaps they will looked at differently.

@vivify saidon the flip side...what does the palestinians do for the US?
Often nations like the U.S. will overlook atrocities from allies for various reasons, such as to continue benefiting from trade, strategic military advantages, oil, etc.
But what does the U.S. gain from it's alliance with Israel? This partnership seems completely one-sided; billions in aid and advanced weaponry, the U.S. gets....what?
Predictably, someone's going to ...[text shortened]... s: I know there are American military bases in Israel. But is that it? Can anyone shed some light?

@mott-the-hoople saidOr what does Vivify do for the US for that matter, apart from support BLM and criminals.

@quackquack saidCorrect, there is no hope for any ally in that region, except Israel.

An American Jewish friend of mine said he wished that Pollard had been executed
for treason because his crimes provoked suspicion of every American Jew's loyalty.
Pollard himself declared that every Jew's ultimate loyalty should be to the state of Israel.
-----------------------------------
And there is a goddamm good reason why people would suspect Jews of being spies.
It's because many are and they have an allegiance to Israel, even if born in the USA. Pollard is living proof.

@mott-the-hoople saidAbsolutely nothing unless you consider their contribution to terrorism.

@mott-the-hoople saidWe don't give the Palestinians billions of dollars in aid, advanced weaponry and loans like we do Israel.
on the flip side...what does the palestinians do for the US?
@vivify saidBut they did give the Palestinians billions during 2008 to 2017 - around $8 Billion, and got nothing in return. At least Israel is an asset in the middle east.
We don't give the Palestinians billions of dollars in aid, advanced weaponry and loans like we do Israel.
In addition to that they get over a billion per year from other sources.
In addition to that there is an unquantifiale amount that goes to them in the form of weapons from Iran and Turkey.
So if you feeling sorry for them you are wasting your time.
