@metal-brain saidHere we differ about "iron-clad evidence"
Yes, let's discuss it. In another thread you said this right after I provided iron clad evidence that was I was saying is 100% true:
"You, sir, are the under the top ten of most bltanat lyers I ever encountered.
And this statement alone is philosophically not justifiable. And the emasure you put on other about "lying" should prevent you anayway from such a statement ...[text shortened]... in subjunctive mood."
Why did you call me a liar right after I proved what I was saying was fact?

@shavixmir saidNot all lies are bad. The German court system recognises a right to tell Not Lüge -- emergency fibs. For example: you happen to be sheltering a family of Jews in a secret cellar under your house when the SS knocks on your door at 3 a.m., searching for Jews. You may lie and say anything to protect your charges. (Of course, you couldn't in 1941, but the law was changed later.)
That's the difference intentions.
You can lie to make people feel good and lie to make people feel bad. Or even lie just to get out of stuff. If it's deliberately manipulating the truth it is a lie.
And that doesn't mean all lies are bad.
@shavixmir saidWhat lies are good?

@Metal-Brain
That would be a good question for you to ask your god king Trump. 30,000 lies and counting, he could write a whole library of books covering each one.
Like 'We are building that wall on the border and MEXICO is going to pay for it''.
Like 'the pandemic will be down to zero cases by Memorial day'
like when asked about the payments to Stormy while on AF1, he goes I don't know about that, ask my lawyer (Cohen, now a convicted felon)
Do you remember THAT little bit or did they suppress that video from Fox News?
And 30,000 odd OTHER lies.
@ponderable saidFauci admitting he lied is iron clad evidence. You are lying again. It is as if you created this thread to embarrass yourself.

@sonhouse saidI never disputed that trump lies. Remember the thread I created called "Trump lies about socialism"?

Tell me something I don't know.
@metal-brain saidThe thread youquoted in the first post doesn't contain evidence but some statements. The statement I take offence ans in your measure is a blatant lie was "There is no misinformation in the OP". This is fals.
Fauci admitting he lied is iron clad evidence. You are lying again. It is as if you created this thread to embarrass yourself.

The claim that you brought forward iron-clad proof is also wrong. You should at least know nthat so you are blatantly lying again.
Then you lie here about a statement I didn't make.
The thread was for clarifictaion. You are the first to confuse the terms "error" "hypothesis" and "lie". So you could have learned something. BUt in fact you only want to attack and don't even realize that the inflatonary use of the expression "Lie" for any other opinio that yours is not helping to establish trust in you. On the contary.
Edit: I take a quote from the original post you made that in your words contains "no misinformation" and is "100% factual":
All you have to do is tell the truth about something democrats do not want to believe and they will want it censored.
Since it is (in your words) 100% factual I can safely assume that you mean all] democrats. The only point in proving you are a liar is to find one who in one case did not ask for censoring. Right?
@metal-brain saidThere is a differnce between a "lie" and an "error".
Tell me something I don't know.
@ponderable saidAre you claiming Trump thought what he was saying was true?
There is a differnce between a "lie" and an "error".
@metal-brain saidI said absolutely nothing about Trump.
Are you claiming Trump thought what he was saying was true?
I think he is a liar. He inetntionally tells the untruth to achieve his goals.
@ponderable saidThen who are you talking about?
I said absolutely nothing about Trump.
I think he is a liar. He inetntionally tells the untruth to achieve his goals.
@metal-brain saidI was trying to answer your question. You seem to be oblivious of the fact that there is the category "error" apart from "lie".
Then who are you talking about?
How does that impression occur?
You routinely charge scientist as liars, when they err.
@ponderable saidAn error is misinformation and a deliberate lie is disinformation.

Fauci lied at least twice. It was disinformation when he lied about masks and the herd immunity threshold.
sh76 claimed something recently that was false, but I don't think it was intentional. That was probably misinformation.
