@KellyJay saidMore hypocrisy.
You jump in this thread about what is important, I bring up no one's name, you do then you proceed to accuse me of being a hypocrite. I think your clarity of thought needs a little fixing.
The first thing you should do when trying to get out of a hole is to put down the shovel.

The post that was quoted here has been removedYou make a great many assumptions based on an opinion on one particular aspect of government expenditure. If the will was there to improve an education system, and make it more easily available to all, be it in America, the UK or any 'developed' nation, the money could and would be found.
As for billionaires, I read that the richest man in the world takes anti - depressants, so whatever is the way to a more contented populous, having more money is apparently not the way.

@AverageJoe1 saidPeople with dementia make sh-- up all the time too. You're no different.
Will someone please dissect, diagram, whatever, this premise? Sue will not, she wimps out. I nail that Biden did wrong, like President Bill did when he paid off the loan of a street person at a pawn shop. I submit that There is no difference. Sue will not tell us if she sees a difference. If she does not, then she admits that Biden did wrong. Bill used his treasury, Biden used his treasury.

@Indonesia-Phil saidPicking a peach off of a tree is not a bad thing, either, unless it is someone else's tree. How many analogies do you need?
A policy decision to financially assist young people to receive an education beyond school is a bad thing, do you think? In the UK (where I was born and raised) we used to have a grant system, whereby the government (via the taxpayer) paid for tuition fees, plus a modest living allowance. Without this I (as a case in point) would not have gone to college, and would hav ...[text shortened]... er wasted, and is well worth the investment, both in terms of the individual and society as a whole.
The rest of your post suggests a system of govt control, and all that it brings with it. You must be speaking of another country. We are more free here, to put it simply. Have at it.

@Suzianne saidI don't google such claims, so google for us about the money that was given to Tulsi by the Repubs.
Of course she is. Tulsi left the Democratic Party, just like Kyrsten Sinema. I can only assume it was for a similar reason: the Republicans bought her out. She couldn't hack being a star in the Democratic Party, so she took the Republican money and ran. She has endorsed Trump this year and J.D. Vance and Kari Lake in 2022, and this alone speaks to her intelligence for being for sale to the highest bidder.

@KellyJay saidYeah well there are rumours that trump likes working on kids so there’s that I suppose
The nurses we had when our daughter was going through her heart surgeries told us that the surgeon we had they all hated to work with, save one nurse who had no issues with him. They also told us if their kid was on the table he was the only one they wanted working on them.
Your simplistic analogise would have some value if trump wasn’t an actual simpleton

@kevcvs57 saidYour comment has zero relevance. Are you just trying to be as clever as Suzianne is and losing it?

And I claim the analogy (!) that a dr may hate children and dogs, smokes, drinks, etc, but is the best heart surgeon in town....I will go to him with my heart.
Such is Trump reverse-syndrome.

@kevcvs57 saidI’m a trump supporter. So? Who else can I support? I don’t like him either, but I sure send donations to his campaign.
Haha you’re not nearly as subtle as you think you are. Your a dyed in the wool trump supporter and every sly and spineless post you make on the subject makes that patently obvious
What would you suggest that I do? Be honest.

@Indonesia-Phil saidPhil here takes issue with my metioning only one of the wastes of government, I think I made a good point, esp since migrant support it is still going on, may up to $6B by now, my granny says.

If you want to see a plethora of other wasteful lib projects they are easily googled. Glad to help. Get ready to be surprised.......
