Your OP and responses thus far suggest you haven't put one ounce of thought into how the NYPD would increase their prosecution rate of rapists, if they put less effort into financial crimes.

Because the police capture/arrest but the DA lets loose the problem isn’t the police they are the ones on the front lines without support.

Yes he is, the part that ignores crime, lets criminals off without bail to commit other crime immediately after getting arrested, or not charging many for the crimes they do. That would go after law enforcement quickly instead of criminals, the progressive way, making streets much more dangerous! Backed up by name calling hate mongers who rejoice as he goes after political opponents.
