@no1marauder saidWell they can and they did.
No the UN and the EU did not designate Soleimani a "terrorist" nor did they ever suggest he could be killed on sight; they did impose some sanctions on him. https://web.archive.org/web/20200104171212/https://www.aa.com.tr/en/middle-east/profile-who-is-qasem-soleimani-/1690827
I do not accept that the US can simply declare someone a "terrorist" and kill them even if they are not an imminent threat to the US. Neither does international law.
@rajk999 saidCriminals break laws all the time; that does not mean the laws don't exist.
Well they can and they did.
Ditto for what the US did to Soleimani and the other members of the convoy, half of those killed being members of Iraq's armed forces.

The post that was quoted here has been removedNoam Chomsky? You may as well name Obama’s friend Ayers. I will not bother answering that silliness by naming MY heroes who love our country. We know that you, with prob 10 passpoy, do not love the USA. We get it. Jesus.
Now, It is time for you to tell us what the difference is in the shooting of Soleimani in the shooting of Osama bin Laden. You’ve had time to think about it, I think it will probably do be difficult, if you want to wait until tomorrow.
@averagejoe1 saidOsama Bin Laden had been indicted for numerous crimes and the US ostensibly tried to capture him to have him answer for those crimes. At the time, he was in hiding.

Though the US declared Soleimani a "terrorist", I'm not aware that any criminal charges were ever filed against him in the US. And he was killed in Iraq while on a diplomatic mission to that country's PM with the permission of the Iraqi government and under the protection of the Iraqi armed forces (5 of whom were killed in the US attack).

@no1marauder saidWe, you me and everyone know these creatures need to be eradicated like rats. So you can only grasp at straws and pontificate to beat the band. A lot of nitpicking, and you actually expect the great strong Donald Trump to check the books to be sure that he was within some technical guidelines of just how and when he would be allowed to take these people out?

Uhhhh, did Obama check the same books? “Can i kill 3000 people on American soil without an invitation “?!?!?? “ And not worry about them hunting me down?
Your stuff is laughable.
I think i saw a picture of Soleimani giving the finger to one of our drones, as if to say you can’t shoot me because I have diplomatic immunity, or on a diplomatic mission!!! Hahaha
So Duchess, if one of your chinese bad guys is on a diplomatic (fabricated or rea) mission to Alaska and blows it up, would you think it OK to chase the bastard down and shoot him dead? That is what strong leaders do to terrorists. (remember that Biden voted against taking Osama out. He is a very weak man. It scares me to death)
Speaking of ‘note’, it is not unnoticed that you are constantly defending these terrorists.
@averagejoe1 saidWhat a bootlicker you are "the great, strong Donald Trump".

Don't you have any self respect?
I expect Donald Trump to obey the law or face punishment for it. Just like everybody else.

The post that was quoted here has been removedBut history being what it is, let us not lose sight of killers that need to be eradicated . I think you said a few clicks back that Osama should have had a trial. A bit to civil in my opinion , I am more into strength . We exhibited it. They took note.
Did you get my post that a guy can pretend or actually be a diplomat and blow up Alaska while he is there.....after he has looked at the law to be sure he could get away with it. That he was immune from our president having him killed.
That means nothing to you?
@averagejoe1 saidYou watch too many stupid movies; diplomatic immunity doesn't allow someone to "blow up Alaska".

@no1marauder saidI would say that 'criminal charges' have nothing to do with killing these 2 men. Silly me.

@no1marauder saidI expect the same. And for the record, i dont like him either. Breaks a law, throw him in jail.....although I hope he makes it to the 2024 elections to clean up a mess that you have no even seen yet.

But he is a great and strong president. Biden is a pitiful and weak president. Am I wrong about Biden??????
