1) Morality is at least partly about cultivating virtue; presumably we want to see others do the same. Viewing child porn is surely incompatible with the virtuous life.

and

2) Most people don't get sexually aroused by violent movies, so there's no obvious analogy.

The problem is in every single case (I dare say that) much bigger than from where those kids got their influences.

There is no definite connection between the porn ...[text shortened]... hurt anyone else no matter how much one might want to at times (and live accordingly).
Well, first off, someone made the claim that there are few studies on pornography and their apparent effect on making a person want to do it more. I was displaying that with a few keystrokes and a click of a button I could find several. I thought that was obvious 🙂

Secondly there are definite connections between viewing porn and acting out on those fantasies. Nearly every single study I cited made that connection very clearly. Just because not EVERYONE acts out on those urges doesn't mean that they don't exist. In fact, every single website I cited mentioned that too, and it really only takes 2 brain cells to understand.

Also, I sure am glad that you too can find information on google. That makes you smarter than some in this crowd (though not smart enough to get the meaning of my post, hehe).

On a personal note, I wholeheartedly believe that pornography is addictive. I know I'll never convince anybody because nobody here can change their minds, and it was never my desire to do so. To sum things up, understand my post before you try and refute it. Thanks.

This really depends on the fantasy, the origin of the fantasy and the "drive" behind the fantasy.

It's impossible to generalise fantasies and actions.

This person would be better advised to study correct English usage than to spend his time downloading 'child porn' or defending that pastime.
He isn't defending child pornography. Read his post again, he is asking a tough question to spark a debate.

I love your second argument, but only because it makes you look like an idiot. I glanced over his post again and found relatively few errors. So, not only does he not make a grammar or syntax error in every sentence like you say, but he obviously doesn't spend his time downloading child porn or defending it, based on the tone of his argument.

My diagnosis is that you obviously can't read.

Looks as though you could do with some lessons in English yourself if you cannot see what is wrong with the original post. I counted 10 errors in 6 lines.
But perhaps English is not your native language?

One simple answer: Its bad because it continues to support the concept of child porn in that it continues to generate money for the pornographers so the cycle goes on. How would you feel if you bought some child porn video only to find it was YOUR daughter or son who was being raped?

I love it when people whose sole argument rests on poor grammar misspell words themselves 🙂

Yeah, it's a truism that posts complaining about grammar or spelling usually have at least one such mistake in them.

Alot of the children dipicted in child porn are victums of their fathers.
