Originally posted by stockenWell, first off, someone made the claim that there are few studies on pornography and their apparent effect on making a person want to do it more. I was displaying that with a few keystrokes and a click of a button I could find several. I thought that was obvious 🙂
This is like when hardrock music was blamed for suicides and young adolescent boys peppering innocent people at that school, or when violent movies gets blamed for excessive street violence.
The problem is in every single case (I dare say that) much bigger than from where those kids got their influences.
There is no definite connection between the porn ...[text shortened]... hurt anyone else no matter how much one might want to at times (and live accordingly).
Secondly there are definite connections between viewing porn and acting out on those fantasies. Nearly every single study I cited made that connection very clearly. Just because not EVERYONE acts out on those urges doesn't mean that they don't exist. In fact, every single website I cited mentioned that too, and it really only takes 2 brain cells to understand.
Also, I sure am glad that you too can find information on google. That makes you smarter than some in this crowd (though not smart enough to get the meaning of my post, hehe).
On a personal note, I wholeheartedly believe that pornography is addictive. I know I'll never convince anybody because nobody here can change their minds, and it was never my desire to do so. To sum things up, understand my post before you try and refute it. Thanks.

This must be the most illiterate post ever; not a line without glaring mistakes in both grammar and syntax.
This person would be better advised to study correct English usage than to spend his time downloading 'child porn' or defending that pastime.
I love your second argument, but only because it makes you look like an idiot. I glanced over his post again and found relatively few errors. So, not only does he not make a grammar or syntax error in every sentence like you say, but he obviously doesn't spend his time downloading child porn or defending it, based on the tone of his argument.
My diagnosis is that you obviously can't read.
Originally posted by DraxusLooks as though you could do with some lessons in English yourself if you cannot see what is wrong with the original post. I counted 10 errors in 6 lines.

But perhaps English is not your native language?

I understand the makers of it might be wrong and cause children to be abused or whatever, fair enough, imprison them.
However as for the people who own download it and own it, why is it considerd wrong or more importantly warrants imprisionment?
1)They are not hurting anyone.
2)Surley its better they exorcise there lust over a computer rath ...[text shortened]... paid money for with money they earnt, why should the FBI have a say in what they can use it for.
ban him for the health of this forum
