Getting back to the subject of the thread, IF Biden were to step down, I think the Democrats would pretty much have to replace him with Vice-President Harris. After all, that's what a Vice-President is for i.e. to step in if the President is no longer capable of fulfilling the duties of the office.

It would be a smart move; she certainly doesn't have the "old" problem and would shore up base support among POC and the young. She's also a good campaigner and an aggressive debater, one who Trump would probably duck.

Other than Biden, the only one who beats Trump head to head is Michelle Obama.

Yes, Muslims are "allowed" to live next to even idiots like yourself and only the most ignorant bigot would have a problem with that.
It would not take a bigot to feel a bit uneasy with these people. I'm figuring you have not been around one all week. Your throne has to be a bit uncomfortable, hovering above the masses.
Did you see where Sonhouse talked me into looking at a socialist-based newspaper (Guardian), when socialism has never worked in any country? Oh, we pool some resources for police and hospitals, a few schools, but I am talking about socialism.
He got me!!! But I think I bailed in time, I have heard if you click off within 10 seconds, that no record of the log-on will exist.

Of course they will, if Michelle does not apply. It has to an 'of-color' deal, so forget the metro guy, Newsom. Micjhelle would win, I just don't get it. With a pen and a phone (to Barack) she would fly high. I thnk she is seeing how high Soros will go, a billion is not out of the question, to own this country.

I think she will do it.

Kamala does not have a serious bone in her body about anything. We best be veeeryyyyyy careful.

In present polling maybe.

But a Harris-Trump match up by November would be all about Trump and that's bad for Republicans.

That is laughable. Kamala has really low poll numbers and if Joe dies voters have to face the possibility Kamala will finish Joe's term. Cringing to say the least.

Show me Kamala's poll numbers no1.

Why don't you just admit it, you APPROVE of Project 2025 don't you, ALL of it, which you probably know EXACTLY what they want, why don't you just admit it and I won't bother you again asking you to actually look at their dark depraved agenda.

A good article here making the argument that Harris would be a much stronger candidate then Biden.https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnbc-opinion/kamala-harris-biden-trump-election-rcna160078

One problem I hear bandying about is say Biden backs out, and Kamala takes his place, the PAC money is gone, she has to come up with her OWN PAC money and time is fast running out for that sort of thing, electable or not.
I can tell you no matter who is the dem nominee, I and millions of other dems WILL vote for whomever it is because Project 2025 would make Trump literally a king with even more powers than SCOTUS just gave him that is just the opening shot over the bow for the powers they want Trump to assume.
Among many other reasons we have to defeat Trump AND any OTHER assshole who Project 2025 wants to make into a literal king and all the rest of their truly depraved agenda.

Actually, Harris would have access to all of Biden's campaign funds as she is already on the ticket. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/what-would-happen-to-biden-s-campaign-cash-if-he-drops-out-that-s-up-to-kamala-harris/ar-BB1pewmv?ocid=BingNewsSerp

In CNN's latest poll, she trails Trump by 2 points, which is better than Biden or any other Democrat. https://s3.documentcloud.org/documents/24787646/cnn-poll.pdf
p. 18

And that's still carrying Biden's baggage; once she became the nominee, she'd be better known and able to make her own case.
