Can anyone suggest a real world rebel alliance counterpoint to the US/UN/EU Empire?
The "Rebel Alliance" to use the Star Wars analogy isn't a national group, but forces within the empire.

Also the "dark side" is not the entire Senate, but conspirators within it.

It isn't the US/UN/EU that is the empire, but those conspiratorial "one worlders" who attempt to dominate political and economic power via those entities, while at the same time attempting to bring them down, so that they are left in total power.

It is no "accident" that the current world crisis originated in banking. It is also no "accident" that national government, and the useful idiots at the helm of them are rushing to finance these very bankers indiscriminately.

your very very wrong.

WWIII is not going to happen, too much nuclear war and globilization of economies makes wars not as plausible as they were in the past.

Plus there isnt any need to fight, no tremendous gluts that the world is in

I wouldn't guess how it will start, but I predict it ends, ironically, with America colonizing Europe.

The American Caesar will start it and the US will take over...I don't know...a lot of territory...

Well that's what happened with Rome.

It has continued and flourished in unrelenting conflict and violence ever since, most notably in the Middle East. I see the Israeli-Arab conflict as an extension of WWII. It is directly caused by WWII and the battle has raged constantly since, and sixty years later there is still no resolution or end in sight.

Um, you'll have to dig a little deeper and read what I posted, methinks.

I did not say Western ideas about peace were different.

You have sources that have noticed an economic crisis?

I don't believe you. Name names. Produce justification for this wild-ass supersecret theory so controversial that you can't tell us who's telling you that. Stop protecting them.
I just said sources as I read a varied range of things.. but the main one of them is stratfor.com - strategic forecasting - a private intelligence firm - I'd highly reccomend them for a non-partisan view of geopolitical happenings.. aside from them my friends forward me articles and stuffs.

Everybody knows but is afraid to acknowledge that WWIII will be caused by a worldwide zombie uprising that will result in extermination of all but a select few that are highly trained to deal with such matters.

This message has been brought to you by the Zombie Defense Force (ZDF)

One of the more annoying things people do on this site is "bet recs". Angie88 is famous for this. This concept that you will compensate someone with a "rec" is absurd. Moreover, there is a direct line between the behavior of "betting recs" on this site and engaging in extremely nerdlike behavior as a child, such as playing Dungeons & Dragons or paying the pretty girl in sixth grade to dance with you. I suggest, lest you brand yourself as the slobbering type who doesn't brush their teeth, that you cease this behavior immediately.

WWIII will not be called such.
A distinct border will grow between the US (which will become various States), Euro-Asia, Southern America and the far East (China and India).

The chance of such immense destruction should withhold all from anything too serious.

These are just a few things I've been giving thought-nothing conclusive.
FDR was managing the Great Depression well with his New Deal initiatives prior to WW2. The US coped much better with WW2 than the countries where the fighting took place, making the Depression a non-issue after the war, but there's no question that FDR already had the country on a trajectory to recover prior to WW2.

Dear Insipid Dolt,

I am struck by the irony of you, of all people, commenting on the less than socially adept behaviour of anyone else on this site. With the sincere hope that you are visited by some sense of decorum, I recommend that you hit yourself in the nuts with a claw hammer immediately.

Merry Christmas,

The Hand.
