People discussing and questioning each other and even arguing over their beliefs on an Internet forum is not "shenanigans", it is the purpose of the forum.
But many of the latest rounds have vastly underrated the intelligence of the audience (not to mention that of the victim). You guys simply aren't as effective as you think you are. But that doesn't stop the "nasty". 15 pages of "back and forth" later, the thread topic is usually a forgotten memory.
But maybe you're right. By using the term "shenanigans", perhaps I was being too nice. I have to come up with a much harsher term. Ok, how about "endless interrogation"? How about the "third degree"? Sometimes you guys are like Laurence Olivier's character in Marathon Man.
