Don't hold your breath waiting for Dave to publicly do either. I searched last night for an e-mail address for the Belguim Chess Federation to see if I could get in touch with the real Tom Piceu, but most of the links don't work. If anybody could direct me to a site or give me a e-mail address for the Belguim Chess Federation we could expose this mini ...[text shortened]... an impostor. I would greatly appreciate any help you could give in this matter.
Fair enough?
I ran tommybear v Mary Ann and neither player had any kind of match up with Junior. Tommybear matched 30 moves from 60 analysed and Mary Ann matched 17 from 60.

[EDIT] I'm a bit slow. 🙁 But check out http://images.google.ie/images?hl=en&q=%22tom%20piceu%22&btnG=Google+Search&sa=N&tab=wi and http://www.timeforchess.com/profile/playerprofile.php?uid=181663. Could be the same guy.

Maybe tommybear can make his next post in Flemish...

Recently a player on the internet chess site RedHotPawn going by the name TommyBear there, has claimed to be you. He says that, as you, he now lives in the state of New Hampshire and is a car salesman. I would appreciate your comments on this matter and apologize in advance in the extremely unlikely event that you really are TommyBear.
We'll see if Mr. Piceu has any comment.
Originally posted by Mephisto2How so when TommyBear made his claim INSIDE the forums?? If it is confirmed by Tom Piceu that he is TommyBear, then I will publicly apologize. If he is not, then he should get the boot.

Originally posted by Mephisto2I partially agree, but Tommybear requested public validation of his authenticity as a top player.

never heard about this one. Could you give a one-sentence summary?

Originally posted by PonderableRumours. As far as I can tell only one has been confirmed: International Master Jean Hebert plays here, but you don't see him crowing about his FIDE rating in the forums.
Thank you No1Marauder.
HAven't there also been rumours of other players being some real-world-players?
Originally posted by no1marauderActually his user name was just "Seirawan".
