This thread, with its episodic twists and turns, and the number of people roped in, has been great. I think the same can be said by some about "The RHP Tavern on the Board is open" thread although I don't care for that one. It takes all sorts.

It interesting to me why some people deeply resent certain threads and feel a compunction to say so, in the very thread they feel offended by.

Ghost of Duke earlier this year claimed that every single one of the threads I start is an obvious deliberate attack on certain posters. When I asked him to give just one example, he couldn't. I suppose he simply resented all of my threads so much, it had dulled his analytical faculties.
