The US is a very diverse country in many different ways. From deserts, to plains to mountains...and quite a lot of the scenery is awe-inspiringly beautiful.
It's an interesting country on various behavioural levels. From yuppie New York to hick Arkansas. From a patriotic love of the nation to always mentioning where their ancestors came from. etc.
What also intrigues me is the simplistic view of "good vs evil" and the undying optimism they feel. Optimism makes people attractive, there are many beautiful Americans. Yet nowhere is plastic surgery so widespread. Like I say, interesting on many different levels.
Some of my best friends are American.
And lastly, but not leastly...my favourite stand-up comedians are American: Bill "God" Hicks and Lewis Black.
