Hello there, I have been told by simon that there are players here that wish to challenge me. If this is true then please challenge me.However please do not waste my time, because if your grade is to low then i will not bother to play you.
Seniorsville, USA
Dear Suzan Miyes:
Our obvious though neglected very first order of business is to welcome you with open arms, along with your grandson Simon (Maestropain)
and Dani16 (perhaps his girlfriend, though still shrouded with a cloak of tantalizing mystery) as members of the Red Hot Pawn Community.
Second, speaking as a grandfather to a grandmother, may I offer a candid word of encouragement. There are many fine people, engaging
conversationalists and accomplished chess players active on this first class/fantastic site. Please refrain from allowing the slings and arrows
of the few immature camp follower spectators or the jaundiced cynical herd, itself, to phase you in the least much less get your dauber down.
Third, believe you'll agree that an open and objective face to face air cleaning is most always useful. Upon that premise, I wish to publicly
affirm my personal message responses to chess game invitations from both yourself, Suzan, and your grandson. Although games with any
provisional/unrated strangers hold little interest, I'd be delighted to consider games with both of you, as soon as you both have completed
a few dozen rated games. Fourth, your credentials are impressive. I'll look forward to your mentoring. Need to flex my rigid positional style.
Kind regards,
Boston Lad (aka, gb)
Let me go ahead and put myself out there as well. No, I am not as good as Grampy Bobby or Tony or Phlab, or many others, but I wold be willing to help you both get yourselves out of the provisional rating status by allowing you both to challenge me at your convenience. It would do my heart good to know I have been bested by the best. My current rating is severely under what I am capable of becoming. So please, Enlighten me with your skills and knowledge so that I may broaden my horizons and expand my knowledge in the game.
Just an added note, Beating me will help in showing these that don't believe that you are truly masters of the game.

Hello there, I have been told by simon...

thankyou for your kind words grampy bobby, dani16(danielle) is simons fiance . I look for the day that we play a game.
in your best interest to position horizontally by developing friendships with many other interesting members and excellent chess players who
are also active public forum posters. Seems imprudent and foolish to put all your effort into cultivating a relationship with a single member.
One massive chest pain and and you will be back to square one. So for your benefit, I suggest we relocate our conversation from a private
(personal message) to a public (forum) venue. In reply to your last message, my challenge settings include 1600 rating minimum, which
I'm sure you will soar past within your first two dozen rated games. As to your question about my chess background, a kind Swedish Uncle
taught me the game at age nine. Privileged to be mentored by E.M. Reubens, Ben Landey, Kermit Pransky, Edmund Brown, Tigran Shaack
during the incredible whirlwind decade of my twenties. We played twice weekly. Literally lost 900-1,000 games before beginning to be able
to hold my own. Corporate career related geographic moves and demands of raising a family displaced chess as a priority for the next three
decades. Became a widower in 2003 and joined RHP in 2007. Please google... Boylston Chess Club/Reubens, then click weblog U2200 BCC
Championship (at the top of the page). Think you'll enjoy the biographical articles by Bernardo Iglesias on E.M. Reubens and Ben Landey.
