@fmf saidHave you looked in the mirror or at your TWIN lately? 🙂 😛
Well, if his banter floats your boat, so be it. But I've been here for over a decade and a half and I have to say I cannot think of any poster in all that time who had less verbal acuity than he does.
Did you get that right in your statement? If so sounds like you and your TWIN!!!! 🙂
Verbal acuity.
This refers to a communication level where the meaning, nature, and importance of the words spoken by the salesperson are personally understood by the customer.

@the-gravedigger saidI'd like to suggest each playing with white same opening. Of course it would mean playing a few more games and Gooster seems afraid to play any. I promise not to rub it in too much when he (GOOSTER) loses. 🙂
Presumably you will be playing with the white pieces.
BTW: t-g you and I are going to have to play another one or two. 🙂

@the-gravedigger saidYou're not on the Ladder are you?
Yes, send me over a challenge sometime.
I believe the count is 3-0 for you so far of course. I played Earl 12 before winning on game 13, had to get lucky sooner or later. May never win another one, but can always say I won once. Seriously I believe it is helping my game playing higher rated players, not showing yet in the ratings but I figure just a matter of time. 🙂 You are a very solid player, better than I had assumed.

@very-rusty saidIn my “little world” green thumbs meant a person who, unlike myself, was good with gardening.🤔

@great-big-stees saidGreen thumbs for gardeners should actually be exchanged for brown thumbs or fingers, as we should actually touch the soil with our fingers to feel if it is wet or needs watering. This I have read somewhere.

@torunn saidPerhaps it, “green thumb”, comes from when someone wore green gloves when gardening.🤔
