Or if you fell off your moped after testing positive.
Looking back the whole thing was governmental disaster; probably the only they they did right was jump in quick and buy lots of vaccines rather than try to negotiate as the EU did. However looking at (what I believe are) the overinflated death numbers one has to question the efficacy of the vaccines. This is IF the numbers aren’t overinflated. The care home lockouts were the cruelest piece of clumsy legislation I think I’ve ever seen.

It all seems like a horrible nightmare now.

Why?

Mine was a bad one today.
Planets misaligned on some Covid19 issues
Wife has it

Think I do too.
I hope both of you will get well soon.

It feels like they handled it well here. Strictly observed restrictions and measures. Only 4% infection rate and only about 2.5% of those who contracted it died. That ratio was higher in the first few months, though. Without comparing it to any other place, it strikes me as not too bad.

We had strictly observed restrictions also; well they were observed by everyone except for those working in No 10 Downing Street of course!

Thanks, we are ok.

It just testing positive for covid has brought back all the horrible memories. That and me being grumpy when I’m feeling poorly 😅

Many thanks.
Yes it’s prolific atm.

I first had it in the delta phase and was pretty much bedridden for three weeks; this is more like a fluey chest thing, nowhere near as bad but will keep me off work for a few days.
.. delta? .. oh the memories.
What variant are we on now?

Well, if you've both got it and are not too ill - that's good, at least you can "mingle". I had to keep myself away from an elderly relative - and therefore everyone else in the hosue - for 11 days (my mother-in-law lives with us).

Not nice being cooped up in just two rooms when you feel fine but the tests say positive making you very negative about it all.

The grumpy part I believe you are a good 80% of the time, so that would be normal for you. 🙂
