same reasons as in non-cyberspace, i would imagine, with emphasis on 'respected'.

medium of exchange (face to face, telephone, postal mail or cyberspace). wrong?
The post that was quoted here has been removedPage 1/post 7 is as honest as the day is long. I need to understand the differences between spam, troll and flame.
When is 'snide' considered snide? When is it winked at? Please also tell me specifically what the prevailing rhp site
public forum "customs and mores" are that all member/subscriber/posters should politely observe. Thank you, Tim.

becoming accepted as well as respected in cyberspace
any and all ideas or suggestions on one or (preferably) both objectives,
along with friendly and lively repartee would be most welcome. thanks.
subject hashed and rehashed, but, let's do it again...
part one...
i wouldn't have used tha word "becoming" az it indicates a process...
a road traveled...
an event lived...
"accepted" either 'iz' or it 'iz not'...
part two...
'accepted' by 'others' iz a useless commodity...
you cannot barter it on any exchange...
the correct application of acceptance iz when you accept yourself az you are...
rather than asking a forum full of morons what you need to do to be accepted...
az fer tha 'respect' doohickey thingy...
same stuff...
and,
friendly and lively repartee do not exist anywhere in tha known universe...
yer welcome...

Acceptance and Respect is so overrated anyway but here is my advice (don't know if it is worthwhile or not)
don't antanogise* so many people
listen and agree with other people so they accept you and respect you
never say people are wrong
also follow the philosophy* that "less is more"
*apologies for the awful spelling this post may contain

I have one piece of advice for you, given to me by my long dead father. It does as well for cyberspace as any other space. Never argue with idiots (cyberspace has more than its fair share of idiots). They will drag you down to their level and then beat you on experience.
