The only ST spinoff I ever watched was Next Generation...until yerterday. I was channel surfing and saw an episode of Voyager which featured 7 of 9 having to solo pilot the ship through a large nebula while the rest of the crew was in hibernation. An entire episode of almost nothing but 7 of 9 made me an instant fan. 😉

DS9's "Trials and Tribble-ations"

They go back in time and appear in the original episode "The Trouble with Tribbles."

There's a fantastic moment where the DS9 crew looks at Worf, and then looks at the original series Klingons (whose makeup is of course TOS-era, sans ridgy forehead), and then back at Worf. They ask him why they look so different, and in a famous dodge he flatly states: "We do not discuss it with outsiders."

It was finally explained in one of the Enterprise episodes. 😉

Did you ever hear the parody on Star Trek called "Star Drek". The crew was Captain Jerk; Mr. Schlock, Chief Science Officer; Lt. Snot, Chief Engineering Officer; Doctor Boner, Chief Medical Officer; Lt. Manura, Communications Officer; Mr. Lulu, Helmsman; I don't remember if there were any others in the parody, but it was a riot.

What I saw of Red Dwarf was hilarious, but I've missed many episodes. 🙁

It was audio only, so you wouldn't have seen it. It is also older than you are, by quite a number of years. I think it was done in the early 70's.
