-Removed-Just read that 4,000+ injured!
The Enterprise is on the way and Raab has promised 5 million quid in aid.
What is Trump doing?
Claiming it was an attack of course!
When asked why he called the blast an attack, not an accident, the president
said that he had met with generals who felt it was 'a bomb of some kind'.
Thing is ... they weren't US Generals!
Israel did it. The news said it was from a shipment from Georgia (the country, not the US state) was heading somewhere and stopped on route in Lebanon and ended up being forced to stay there? Can you believe anything on mainstream news? Still waiting on covid killing millions. Everyone got enough toilet paper?
@trev33 saidSources on Media say the stockpile of chemicals was dormant for ages🤷♂️ I don't even believe half the stuff from the BBC News. Try Pampers Wet Wipes, no bog role in ALDI yesterday.

@trev33 saidLiving in a predominately cash crop farming community and thus knowing many farmers, ammonia nitrate is used by many of them as high-nitrogen fertilizer. Under certain conditions it is highly explosive as was seen in Beirut. The placement of the stuff, for the past 6 years was very unusual and most especially the length of time it sat there. An "accident" waiting to happen. The exact cause should be, after what'll be a long and arduous investigation, determined...hopefully. In the meantime my thoughts are with those whose lives were lost, those left to grieve and those whose homes were destroyed.
Did you see a rocket? Sounds like Sky news has some kind of agenda going on.
@great-big-stees saidOr was it an accident? That is the big question.

@very-rusty saidWith all the political unrest in Lebanon and the surrounding area it would seem, on the surface, that it wasn't, but until such time as a "proper" investigation occurs let's hope that it was.

@great-big-stees saidWill an investigation accomplish anything is yet to be seen. I do have my doubts on that one. Will we ever hear the truth about what REALLY happened? I also have my doubts on that.

@rookie54 saidOf course rookie but what are you thoughts on it? Or are you waiting to see what is found in the investigation, or do you even care about it?
There are two ways to become fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true
