I was thinking about some travel this year and reading around some options. Canada seems a great place to visit but definitely NOT Nova Scotia!

All the expat forums says it’s dull, has poor weather most of the year, is full of backward thinking old people who are unfriendly due to being suspicious of newcomers. The place is expensive and has punitive taxes.

Looks l ...[text shortened]... oronto maybe around the lakes a bit and if the time and funds hold maybe an extra week in Vancouver.

Have you weighed Quebec City vs Montreal? At the moment Ottowa has turned into a truckstop.

Other thoughts:

Are you capable of saying "sorry" every time you might possibly have done something subtly wrong according to the local folkways?

Also, there are Kindle ebooks of Quebecois slang in case you want to learn a few phrases, such as "Tabarnak de grenouille!" -- but I am not necessarily recommending that you trot them out sans considération.

I never stated 70 percent of indonesians were pedophiles. A lot of the religious people would turn a blind eye or want to be heroic like their prophet mohammed.

Muhammed is not a god. Muslims do not worship Muhammed. Muslims pray to the Abrahamic God directly. They do not pray to Muhammed.

People having sexual intercourse with women once they had reached puberty was culturally normal 1,500 years ago all across the world, in Asia, in the Middle East and Africa, and Europe. [And probably in the Americas too, although I don't know for sure.]

For European kings and tribal leaders to be betrothed to prepubescent girls for political and intertribal reasons was normal one and a half millennia ago.
