Stop putting alcohol in their food! 😉

Nice pictures. You'll do well, and it's fun to watch them grow. If you plan to eat them, don't wait too long or they will be tough. I have a feeling, they will be pets. 🙂

We have chicks! I have not named them yet, but the kids have given them several names. I can't keep up with them. Once I see more personality, I will assign names.

The people we bought them from were a very nice young couple in the city. They had over 20 chickens, 10 ducks, baby ducklings, 4 rabbits and 20 quail. I was surprised at how much they had! ...[text shortened]... on Facebook with me can watch a video too. 😀 I know this is all so fascinating 😛.
Awwww, thats so sweet, they look like little animals!🙂

I put my bet on the RHODE ISLAND RED showing its buttom on picture #2 to be the dominant:p

There is nothing wrong with raising chickens. I know plenty of farmers who do it as a hobbie and of course the benifits, eggs and meat. Plus it is a great thing to do with your kids. My suggestion is talking to some farmers, or those at the feed store for some ideas.
