Originally posted by MontaguesThis happens quite often to me too! But, they delete the games with me because my rating is too low :'(! You people (that delete the open invite games with me) have serious issues π!
Why do some players put up open invites, then delete the games when their challenge is accepted? Maybe if they are SO concerned about their rating they should make the game unrated in the first place
Originally posted by MontaguesIf someone takes an invite, moves once then does not move for hours I tend to get bored and delete the game to find someone who wants to play a game there and then - I hate drawn out openings, don't mind in the endgame as we all need time to think. If I accept an open invite I will always try and play at least 5 moves or so to get a feel for the game or the opponent.

Originally posted by SirLoseALotI do generally! I do not think people read this or at least take it in at a conscious level. If tou put up a game saying only players over 1350 for example at least half the time someone with a 1200 rating will accept the challenge. I generally put "regular movers only please".

So,if I would lie to play one of you,but don't have time right then and there, and I accept and leave, you'll delete the game?π
That seems a bit harsh, doesn't it:'(
I think the person in the wrong is the one who accepted the open invite, an invite that expressed a condition on the terms of play.
