I don't need to win a couple freaking games of correspondence chess or anything else bad enough to take advantage of some guy's wife being gravely ill. If other people do, that's on them.
I like to play lots of games concurrently and I like them to go quickly.
If I see a skull, then I click it because it means my opponent hasn't moved.
I don't give a flying &@#$ at a rolling doughnut (to borrow a line from Stephen King) about winning and rating points. I mean, just look at my bloody rating now!
It feels damn good to see a plan come together and putting your opponent in check mate, but like I said, I want to PLAY chess, not wait around for opponents to move.
I'm here to play chess. It's a good time killer for me. I'm not very good at it and I don't plan to put too much time into it in the near future to get significantly better. I have other interests that take up enough of my time.
If you don't move - you will get timed out be me.
I'm sure there are a few other people here who agree with me...

What if In His Name is the last game holding up a round of a tourney of clan league? Which way do you side then No1?
And if IHN still can't return, I'll ask Russ to call them draws. I don't need to win a couple freaking games of correspondence chess or anything else bad enough to take advantage of some guy's wife being gravely ill.

If your rating means nothing to you, you're here to play chess and you're a subscriber, what possible reason could you have for taking the time out?????

Am I the only one who noticed that these two scenarios are auto time outs? I don't think No1Marauder has any choice in the matter of this situation.
Originally posted by flexmoreEither I need to go to bed, or clan league games are different from regular clan matches, right? I thought clan league games(as was specified in XanthosNZ's post) was an auto time out situation.

Originally posted by Fat mans revengeYou are correct; in Xanthos' hypothetical, both situations would be auto timeouts although many players time out before the auto timeout kicks in. Such does not apply in our current games and I will not timeout In His Name under the circumstances, period.
