Skull and Bones are cool and can be used for many occasions.
For national flags I would have to point to the flag of Denmark; "Dannebrog" by history said to have fallen from the sky as a promise of Danish victory during a batle in Estonia in 1219 thus being the oldest national flag in use today.

My vote goes to the Seychelles flag as well. Alternatievely, I kinda like the one of Antigua and Barbuda. Weird ass colour scheme!!

The Sandwich Islands (Hawaii Islands) is pretty cool, and American Flag with a British one where the stars go on a US flag. Pretty much somes up the colonial impact of the past 250 years!

My second vote, after the flag of Nepal, is the flag of Libya. It's a solid green rectangle with nothing else on it. Talk about stark simplicity, you can't get any more minimalist than that.

Like Nauru's flag - star on blue background, under a single line. One island in the Pacific, just under the equator.
