Mokko, your first claim is not a sufficient explanation, and your second statement appears to make an unrelated claim.

As regards your first claim, someone could have very low self-worth, yet still steer clear of donkey-holes and deadbeats, just because they are unpleasant to be with. Unless, of course, the low self-esteemer had no other options and had to settle for something rather than nothing, which is hard to believe in your case, given that you are both cute and articulate, and have reasonable access to men.

Are you claiming in your second sentence that you were attracted to donkey-holes and deadbeats only because they were not aware they were such originally? That seems like a reasonable possible explanation. But if so, this has nothing to do with your level of self-esteem, does it?
