I guess that one of the points of my previous post is being demonstrated. The "discussion" here has deviated off topic. When I was in school, the teacher/professor would insist that the class stay on the topic. If it veered off on a tangent, he would end the class. That was it for the day. We soon learned to stick to the subject at hand and develop it, not wander off into something else. It seems to me that the topic is the suggestion to have a culture forum. What has happened to this train of thought? If we want to discuss something else, then it belongs in a different thread.
