Have you ever had to use the treats? Things like that don't happen often, at least around my neck of the woods. Smart idea though!

I use them often as quite a few of the places I deliver to have dogs, though most, if not all of them are friendly and actually watch for me (most of my deliveries are on a weekly basis, so the dogs get used to when to expect me.👍

Great! Nice to hear you are still doing your charity work. I am sure the people are very appreciative for what you do.

It appears there is a good chance you have turned all the ANIMAL rights lovers against you old chap! 🙂

The animal rights lovers who promote more rights for animals than people should be lighted up as well. Dogs that kill or even maim should be killed or deported to China / Philippines where people eat them for lunch.

Animal rights people, just like these rainbow people are getting out of hand. We have had lots of old people die from being attacked by the trusted family pitbull, and the dog lovers blame the owners.

So you agree with setting the people who own the dog on fire if their dog kills someone? I don't think that is the proper course of action to be taken personally.

Well not literally. If your dog is a killer then that dog must be killed. The owners must face a very high fine and /or have insurance to pay damages to the family of the dead person. For a second or third offence the owner of such dogs must face a manslaughter charge and possible jail time.

I concur, but the OP had been talking about burning the person who owned the dog/animal responsible, not the way to go in my opinion. I think it was said tongue 'n cheek from the person who said it, but felt it should be addressed.

The person indeed should be responsible for any damage his dog/animal might do up to and including jail time, paying expenses is a no brainer. I don't think there should be a third offense for sure.

Ok I now read it. I would say it is hilarious and not at all tragic. People call death on themselves all the time and they wont get my pity. My pity is for those who want to live and follow rules that lead to life.

That woman felt that he dog was more important than people, obviously and it is karmic justice that lead to her death at the hands [mouth], of her own dog.

Tragic would be if she lived and the dog killed an innocent person.

topic onna tangent
i have two of the sweetest rescues you ever did see
nazz is a blonde hound mix, howls at butterflies, 17 human years olde, moves slower every day, and still scoots across the carpet
i am convinced she does this merely to aggravate me
diesel is a black lab mix, 7 human years olde, rescued from an unwanted litter of pups in danger of spreading parvo
every day he demonstrates how to do things i will never be flexible enough to do

now, you may be asking yerself why i'm telling you this adorable story
when feeding time rolls around, and they know their bowls are about to be delivered, these two very docile and creampuff canines will at times stare at each other as they begin to chow down

i've seen this look often enough to know that it's a warning

did i mention they're passive?

don't mess with a passive dog's feedbowl
any dog can turn at any time for the most obscure reasons

True!

I've seen fights break out over a stuffed toy.

A fine? Possible jail time... Possible?

If you have an animal that kills someone there should be a minimum sentence of 10 years in jail. Your actions took the life of another and destroyed a family, a fine isn't going to cut it.

There are some people who obey the law and follow all the rules and still there can be accidents. Its like a motor car accident. People die in motor crashes too. You cannot always place the blame on one person. If you can and there is negligence then I agree with the prison sentence.

A person should get Jail time first time it happens, you have an animal you have to control it. It is just that simple!!!

It's not like a car accident, the two are completely different and not deserving to be mentioned together. Having an animal which is capable of killing a person is not an accident.
