Ahhh, on the site I just read that there will be five character classes, and you'll be able to make male OR female characters of any class.

Yeah, they'll probably just trickle out these classes to keep the hype up.

Surely all the previous classes will be there and there will probably be double what we had in previous instalments...

The game is still in development. I'm guessing a lot could change before it rolls out.

When I saw the barbarian introduced with a new class, I thought they were going to do that again, meaning there would hopefully be over 10 classes.

Yeah, D2 was awesome after LoD with what? 7 classes? (The Assassin was excellent.)

Wouldn't have been too much of a stretch to make 3 new classes, although I'm guessing they know there will be an expansion package down the road for D3 just like LoD for D2.

I wonder what people who played a class in D2 that isn't in D3 will do. In D2, you could bring characters over from D1, so I was assuming you'd be able to bring over your D2 characters. Maybe not.

This thread made me pull out D2:LoD and start playing it again.
